Taylor Lautner Has One Odd Regret From ‘Twilight’

If Taylor Lautner has one regret from the Twilight franchise, it’s that he didn’t hold onto the luxurious wig he wore for the first installment of the series.

Speaking to Access Hollywood, Lautner said he had the chance to keep the wig, the one his character Jacob Black wore when fans first caught a glimpse of him. He said he regrets turning it down.

“It’s my one regret,” Taylor Lautner told Shaun Robinson at the junket for Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. “They offered me the wig, and I did turn it down. But I am definitely wishing now I would’ve taken it.”

Taylor Lautner has more than regret from his experience from the Twilight series. Speaking to E! News, he said there were plenty of things he would miss. Going shirtless was not one of them.

“Taking the shirt off, for sure,” when asked by E! News at the Breaking Dawn: Part 2 press junket about what he did not like about the series. “It’s not fun.”

Lautner explained:

“One, when we film these movies in like horrendous weather conditions and in the books it’s always suppose to be cold and gloomy and the sun can never be out so that’s not fun. And then the second thing is, I’m always the only person with my shirt off, so…I wish just everybody could, you know, do it once and then you know, it would make me feel more comfortable.”

Lautner added that he’ll miss the friends he made filming the Twilight series, including Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.

“I mean, it’s a bummer because we won’t have the excuse to spend every single day with each other on set or promoting, but no, we’ll absolutely stay in touch…it’s an absolute miracle that we all got along so well and became so close.”

Though he made some good friends, Taylor Lautner still regrets not keeping that wig.
