Cynthia Bailey: Why ‘RHOA’ Star Stripped Down On National Television

Cynthia Bailey decided to move forward with her divorce from Peter Thomas when the new season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta started. Cynthia had started developing some trust issues with her husband last year, as he started spending more time in Charlotte, North Carolina. Within a few months, Peter was essentially living in North Carolina, whereas Cynthia was living and working in Atlanta — and the couple had no plan of moving back to the same state. And when an Instagram video surfaced of Peter getting a little too friendly with a female friend, Bailey was furious.

According to a new Bravo report, Cynthia Bailey is now revealing that she wants the divorce to go smoothly, as she wants to remain friends with her ex-husband. Cynthia has already met up with Peter Thomas on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, which was an interesting event. The two were clearly a bit awkward with one another, but they were splitting up despite still loving one another. So when Cynthia Bailey heard that her daughter had met up with Peter, she was in full support of their relationship.

“The conversation between Noelle and Peter touched my heart. I cried watching them together. I didn’t expect to get so emotional. I was speechless,” Cynthia Bailey explained to Bravo about her daughter breaking down when she saw Peter Thomas during a yoga class.

She added about moving into her lake home, “Closing out one chapter of my life and starting a new one at the same time feels happy and sad. Being in my new home on my wedding anniversary felt a little weird. It is still all very new to me, so I guess this feeling is normal.”

Of course, it has been a few months since Cynthia moved into her own home on the lake and out of her marital home. Her Atlanta home sold quickly, and she wanted to move out of the home fast so she could start over. Cynthia Bailey is sharing this journey on this season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

But her divorce wasn’t the only thing that went down during Sunday’s episode. Bailey decided to invite all of the ladies to the doctors so she could talk to him about breast implants and let them know about their own health. While some of the ladies were completely natural, others did have implants and paid close attention to what Bailey’s doctor was telling her. What made Cynthia Bailey strip down on national television to show her breasts?

“Originally, I only planned to invite Kandi to my breast exam. In past conversations, she had expressed an interest about future breast augmentation. So, I thought that if I brought her with me, it would be a great opportunity for her to ask the doctor any questions that she might have. In the end, I decided to just invite all the ladies, and make it a ‘Breast Exam Party.’ All the ladies have seen my breasts before anyway. So this was a great moment for them to touch them as well! They were excited, and it was a nice break from all the drama,” Cynthia Bailey explained on her Bravo blog for The Real Housewives of Atlanta, sharing that she didn’t mind stripping down to inform other women about the dangers and risks associated with leaving the implants in for too long.
