Tarek And Christina El Moussa Divorce: Is She Splitting From Rumored New Boyfriend Gary Anderson?

Christina El Moussa’s alleged relationship with Gary Anderson has been making waves online since it was revealed last week that the Flip or Flop star had reportedly began dating the contractor a few months after her split from husband Tarek.

While Christina El Moussa’s rumored romance with Gary Anderson remains unconfirmed, a new report suggests that whatever it is that may be going on between them may not last much longer.

“Any romance between [Christina El Moussa] and Gary has seriously cooled off since the story about them has gone public,” a source close to the situation told Hollywood Life on December 22 of the alleged couple’s current relationship status.

Tarek and Christina El Moussa parted ways with one another in May of this year, but didn’t officially announce news of their separation until last Monday, December 12.

A short time after Tarek and Christina El Moussa’s split was announced, TMZ claimed it was Gary Anderson who had reportedly witnessed an incident between the television stars that was believed to have ended their relationship. According to the report, Anderson witnessed Tarek leave his home with a gun before a whopping 11 deputies showed up to the Southern California residence in response to “a call of a possibly suicidal male with a gun.”

“[Christina El Moussa] was not happy about all the negative attention she and Tarek have received since the controversial news broke about their rocky breakup. So Christina has taken her focus away from Gary,” the Hollywood Life source continued.

Now, Christina El Moussa is putting “her energy into her kids, career and away from dating Gary,” added the source.

Tarek and Christina El Moussa confirmed their separation last week in a statement to People Magazine which also addressed the couple’s dispute in May. In the statement, Tarek and Christina El Moussa claimed the incident was a “misunderstanding,” but also noted that they’ve faced challenges within their marriage.

As they continued to work through the process of their split, Tarek and Christina El Moussa said they were committed to their 2 children, 6-year-old daughter Taylor Reese and 1-year-old son Brayden James. As for their business of flipping houses, the couple added that they were planning to “continue our professional life together.”

Tarek and Christina El Moussa have been starring in their HGTV house flipping series, Flip or Flop, for the past three years and will continue to star in the series through 2017. As for the show’s potential eighth season, which would possibly come after the show’s currently airing season, no news has yet been shared.

According to another report shared on Thursday, a source claimed Tarek and Christina El Moussa were surprised by the attention they’ve gotten since their breakup was announced.

“Tarek & [Christina El Mousa] are surprised by how much their lives have changed since the news broke of their split and Tarek’s now infamous gun-toting hike,” another insider told Hollywood Life on December 22. “They had a bit of celebrity before but now they can’t leave their house without people asking them about their personal life.”

“Friends and family too have been hitting them up daily with texts and phone calls wanting to know the latest details of their relationship status,” the source continued of Christina and Tarek El Moussa. “While they understand the notoriety is good for both business and their TV show, Tarek and Christina kind of miss the peace they enjoyed prior to the news coming out about their breakup.”
