Drake Allegedly Blasted As A ‘Jerk’ By Rihanna Amid Jennifer Lopez Dating Rumors, ‘She Knows He’ll Always Love Her,’ Claims Source
Drake is reportedly feeling the heat from ex-girlfriend Rihanna as rumors swirl that the rapper is moving on from their romance with Jennifer Lopez after sources claimed that Rihanna slammed her ex as a “jerk” in the wake of their October breakup.
According to a new report by Hollywood Life, as rumors swirl that Drake has been getting close with Lopez recently, Rihanna is supposedly “really freaked out” by the idea that Drake could soon start dating Jennifer and supposedly doesn’t want to see the rapper move on with another woman, despite Rihanna and Drake calling off their romance in October.
“[Rihanna] is really freaked out about Jennifer, especially because they’re friends,” a source revealed to Hollywood Life of how Rihanna allegedly reacted after hearing the swirling rumors that Lopez and Drake may start dating after being spotted getting pretty close backstage at Jennifer’s “All I Have” Las Vegas residency show last week.
According to claims made by an insider close to Rihanna, the “Love On The Brain” singer “thinks of Jennifer as a mentor” and isn’t exactly the biggest fan of the idea that Lopez and Drake could start dating.
“The fact that they’re now Eskimo sisters is pretty overwhelming,” continued the source, alleging that Rihanna is feeling pretty “jealous” by the swirling dating rumors surrounding Jennifer and Drake ever since they snapped a selfie together last week.
“Rihanna knows Drake will always love her, but she does get jealous,” added the insider. “She can’t stand the thought of him being with another woman.”
Notably, the Jennifer and Drake dating rumors come just months after Rihanna gifted Lopez a pair of $2,000 boots from her recent collaboration with Milano Blahnik, even including a handwritten note to the former American Idol judge in which she claimed that Jennifer was “gonna wear them better than [her].”
But while Rihanna has publicly stayed tight-lipped as rumors swirl that Jennifer Lopez and Drake could soon be dating, reports that Rihanna is supposedly starting to feel “jealous” come shortly after she allegedly slammed Drake as a “jerk” for how he handled their breakup.
Hollywood Life alleged that Rihanna was supposedly still bitter about how she and Drake ended things after reportedly dating exclusively for the past several months, allegedly claiming that the rapper was a “jerk” in the wake of their breakup after she refused to attend his 30th birthday party earlier this year.
“[Rihanna] feels salty about how s*** went down in their relationship,” an insider told the site at the time, claiming that Rihanna is “still mad at [Drake] for many reasons” and wasn’t, at least at the time, ready to reconcile their friendship in following their most recent breakup.
The source then went on to reveal that Rihanna had supposedly been telling friends that she was still upset with Drake, just weeks before the dating rumors began to swirl around himself and Lopez, “because he’s such jerk who won’t commit and wants everything his way.”
But while Rihanna and Drake have not officially commented on their relationship or their breakup, Drake has been a little more forthcoming about his apparent plans to start dating Jennifer after his breakup with Rihanna after he took to Instagram to gush over the star last week.
Drake posted two snaps of himself having a pretty great time with Lopez at her Las Vegas show on December 11, including a selfie with Jennifer himself where he claimed in the caption that he had a lot of eye heart emojis for the singer and actress.
After Drake’s gushing posts, Hollywood Life then claimed that Drake was likely ready to move on after dating Rihanna exclusively for several months until they split in October, claiming that the rapper was “very flirty” with the Shades of Blue actress during their backstage interaction and even claimed that Drake had plans to start dating Lopez.
“[Drake] couldn’t stop complimenting her, hugging her and you already know he was checking out her banging body from head-to-toe,” a source said of Rihanna’s ex’s recent interaction with Lopez. “He was being typical Drake, trying to make [Jennifer] fall in love with him on sight.”
