Olivia Wilde Ditches Her ‘Melania Trump Hair’
Olivia Wilde got political with her new hair style as she made the decision to ditch her “Melania Trump hair.”
On Monday, December 19, the 32-year-old actress took to Instagram to reveal hew new hair style. Per Olivia Wilde’s Instagram post, her new hair is a little shorter, a little lighter, and a little less like Melania Trump.

While the jab Olivia Wilde made against Melania Trump with her new hair style might be considered lighthearted, Olivia has never been shy about being a strong Hillary Clinton supporter. Olivia also hasn’t been shy about her lack of support for Donald and Melania Trump.
Just a week ago, Olivia shared a picture of herself on Instagram wearing an “Electoral College Dropout” T-shirt. Olivia got right to the point with what wearing the shirt meant in her caption on the post.
“She won by almost 3 million votes. That’s basically the population of Lithuania.”
Back in September, Olivia Wilde shocked and amazed everyone by revealing the gender of her second child and taking a jab at Trump in one powerful tweet. With this powerful tweet, Olivia Wilde was responding to a popular advertisement campaign Hillary Clinton had recently released. The campaign advertisement, called “Mirrors,” featured clips of several young girls while listening to clips of Donald Trump shaming the bodies of women, calling women pigs, and saying other sexist and offensive things. The purpose of the campaign was to force voters to think about whether Donald Trump was going to be a good president for their daughters to grow up with. With this tweet, Olivia revealed her fear of the thought of bringing a daughter into a world where Donald Trump could be president.
Back in 2013, during an interview with Cosmopolitan, Wilde revealed she had somewhat of a wild history when it came to her hair and hair style changes she had made over the years.
“When I was 12, I worked my way through the Manic Panic line, if you remember that one. I went with purple, green, blue — I really liked blue — and I really wanted to create a sunset effect, so I did orange into red.”
Olivia claims to have worked her way through most of the “punky colors” when she was younger and moved on to more “high-end silky, creamy blondes, browns, and reds” as she got older. Today, most of the changes Wilde makes to her hair are work professional reasons. Even just changing her hair for work, she still gets a new hair style often.
