Taylor Swift Is Reportedly ‘Packing On Pounds,’ And It’s Tom Hiddleston’s Fault?
Has Taylor Swift’s split from Tom Hiddleston taken its toll on the 27-year-old? According to a new report, Swift may need the actor back in her life.
As rumors regarding Taylor Swift’s potentially upcoming album continue to swirl, a source claims single life hasn’t been working out too well for the singer, who is reportedly “feeling blue” and “eating her feelings” after splitting from Hiddleston months ago.
“Taylor Swift has been eating super-sized portions this holiday season – and sources blame her rotten love life for falling off the fitness train,” a source told OK! Magazine on December 20.
Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston began dating one another in mid-June after Swift split from her boyfriend of 15-months, Calvin Harris, and for months, they appeared to be inseparable. In addition to trips to the U.K., Australia, and Italy, Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston were seen together in Nashville, Tennessee, where the actor reportedly met Swift’s parents.
Although rumors regarding Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston’s allegedly fake romance have been shot down, the reports continue to swirl, and according to the magazine’s source, the drama from their relationship fallout has led Swift to pack on the pounds.
“Ever since the fauxmance fallout [caused by her fake romance with Tom Hiddleston] she’s been eating a lot of candy and desserts to cheer herself up,” an insider said, alleging that Taylor Swift’s romance was all for show.
The outlet went on to reveal that Taylor Swift was “a pretty good baker” who often posts Instagram photos of things she has made in her kitchen. Now, however, the magazine alleged, Taylor Swift “clearly is indulging a bit too much.”
“[Taylor Swift] doesn’t drink much if ever, it’s all about sugar and carbs when she indulges. That’s been a lot lately, because she’s so down about her love life,” the source claimed.
OK! Magazine‘s report concluded with a comment suggesting Taylor Swift should give Tom Hiddleston a call.
Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston’s whirlwind romance may have prompted allegations of being fake due to the highly publicized nature of their time together, but there has been absolutely no proof of any such thing. That said, there has been some drama surrounding their split.
Earlier this month, a separate OK! Magazine report claimed Taylor Swift was working on her new album and suggested that she was getting the okay from her former boyfriend before releasing any new breakup-related tracks.
“Hiddleston must have been one amazing boyfriend” because Taylor Swift is “letting her ex have a say in the songs she writes about him,” the alleged source told the magazine, according to a report by Gossip Cop. “Taylor sends him drafts and loops him in on how the process is going, and nothing will be recorded without Tom’s consent.”
“This was their deal right from the start of their fauxmance… It’s a contractual situation and the result is to make them look good,” the outlet added.
Meanwhile, the source claimed, “Calvin is another story.”
In response to the magazine’s report regarding Taylor Swift’s alleged “fauxmance” and her rumored plans to run her new tracks by Hiddleston, a source close to the actor said no such deal existed and added that the entire OK! Magazine story was “completely false.”
Following the end of her relationship with Tom Hiddleston, Taylor Swift has remained single and kept a low profile as she reportedly focuses on her upcoming album.
“[Taylor Swift] is handling things well and she is working on music and writing lyrics down all the time especially since she has been involved in so many recent high-profile news stories with Tom [Hiddleston] or Kanye [West] and even the Super Bowl speculation,” a source told Hollywood Life. “She has a lot of material to work off.”
