Are Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Getting Engaged For Christmas?

Will Gwen Stefani be planning her second wedding by the end of this year? According to a new report, the mother of three and coach of The Voice may soon become engaged to her boyfriend and co-star, Blake Shelton.

Although no official plans for a proposal have been revealed quite yet, a source claims Shelton is getting ready for the holidays by purchasing tons of toys for Gwen Stefani’s boys — and by shopping for “diamond jewelry” for his singer girlfriend.

“[Blake Shelton] has been shopping up a storm for [Gwen Stefani] and her boys [for Christmas]. He basically bought everything Toys R’ Us sells for young boys including Minecraft, Pokemon and Tech Deck supplies. He also likes to get the boys some good old country presents like real bows and arrows, which they shoot on his property,” a source told Hollywood Life on December 18.

From her 13-year marriage to Gavin Rossdale, Gwen Stefani is mom to three sons, Kingston, 10, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, 2. Meanwhile, despite being married twice, Shelton has no children of his own.

After splitting from Gavin Rossdale in August of last year, Gwen Stefani began dating Shelton, who had also recently split from his former spouse, Miranda Lambert.

“Blake is just as generous when is comes to [Gwen Stefani],” the source continued.

“He really loves to spoil her. He won’t say if he’s going to propose or not, but he’s definitely been shopping for diamond jewelry.”

As the outlet recalled, Gwen Stefani was photographed wearing a diamond ring in May of this year, but at the time, a source claimed the bling was nothing more than an alleged hint for Shelton.

“As far as the ring is concerned that was worn at Wango Tango, it is not an engagement ring from Blake but it is Gwen’s attempt at giving Blake the hint that he should ask soon because she is more than ready for it to happen,” a source told Hollywood Life at the time.

“During Wango Tango she didn’t talk to anyone about actually being engaged because she is not yet, but she talked about how things were going great with Blake and how she was looking forward to the future.”

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton went public with their romance in November of last year as they filmed the ninth season of The Voice in Los Angeles. Amid filming, Gwen Stefani and her boyfriend traveled to Nashville, Tennessee, where they attended a Country Music Awards after party and were photographed holding hands.

Since Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton went public with their relationship, they have been targeted with rumors of a possible engagement and numerous alleged pregnancies. In fact, rumors of a possible pregnancy hit the web just days after Stefani and Shelton’s romance was confirmed.

Although Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton haven’t announced news of any pregnancies or engagements, they appear to be going strong and are often seen together in Los Angeles and in Shelton’s hometown in Oklahoma. They will also soon be seen together on camera when they reunite in the coming weeks to begin filming on The Voice Season 12.

In October, after she sat out for the 10th and 11th seasons of The Voice, Gwen Stefani was confirmed to be returning to the show in a statement from Paul Telegdy, President of the Alternative and Reality Group of NBC Entertainment.

“We can’t wait to experience the unique chemistry and energy Gwen, Alicia, Blake and Adam will bring to season 12.”
