Kim Kardashian Steps Out Without Jewels But Keeps Her Wedding Ring

Kim Kardashian West stepped out for a rare excursion with her two children North and Saint, and it was quickly observed that the mother of two did not have her jewels though she had her wedding ring on.

Kim was spotted driving her Range Rover with her friend Brittny Gastineau riding shotgun while North and Saint were securely buckled in the back seat. The photos of Kim were taken while she was driving recently and they revealed that she did not have her jewelry. She instead, had only one ring on her finger which is believed to be her wedding ring.

The large diamond engagement ring that Kim received from her husband Kanye West in 2013 was notably not on her fingers. Kim is believed to be wearing only one ring because she has become more careful since her traumatic incident in Paris after she was robbed. She has been wearing less jewelry as her way of taking more precaution. One of her expensive rings was reportedly stolen during the robbery. West is believed to have given it to her earlier this year after he scored a multimillion dollar deal with Adidas. The ring was reportedly worth $4.5 million.

Though this is not the first time that Kim has been seen over the past few months, it was considered a rare excursion because she has kept off being seen in public since the robbery incident. The family has been taking no chances with security. They have beefed up and changed their security detail over the past three months. It has also not been easy for the family following Kanye’s hospitalization for about one week at the UCLA Medical Center though he was recently released and has been recovering rapidly.

There have been claims that the situation made Kim second-guess her marriage and that she plans on divorcing Mr. West. A source close to the family dismissed the rumors as false. The fact that Kim was spotted with her marriage ring on her finger further supports the claim that the couple plans to stick together. She has been very supportive of Kanye during his illness just like he was supportive of her after she was robbed.

“The divorce claims come from before he had the breakdown. She didn’t know what was up with him and they weren’t spending time together. She didn’t know it was a mental breakdown,” one of the sources reported.

The ring on Kim’s finger thus proves that she still loves her husband and there is no impending divorce. It is not clear where Kim was taking her children and her friend. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was seen at a birthday party hosted by her sister Kourtney on Saturday. The party was a birthday celebration for Kourtney’s sons Mason, 7, and Reign, 2. The two were born on the same date though five years apart. North and Saint were also present at the party. Of course, they would not miss their cousins’ birthday party for anything.

“Kim spent several hours at the birthday party with her kids. She looked very pretty and also seemed happy,” an insider told People.

The family has been under a lot of pressure lately following the robbery and West’s hospitalization, but things seem to be cooling down. Just last week Kim broke her social media silence through a new Kimoji Instagram account. The fact that she was recently seen driving and going out with the children means she has recovered from the unfortunate incidents and will hopefully be seen more often in public in the future. Despite making a recovery, Kim has clearly learned from her past and is now taking more precaution as evident by the fact that she was only seen with one ring and has lately been careful not to flaunt her jewelry.
