Did Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt split two years before announcing their divorce?

According to a new report via Radar Online, the couple’s sudden decision to part ways from one another shouldn’t come as a shock to fans, for the twosome have allegedly been feuding for years on end, stressing that things took a turn for the worst in 2014, in particular.

It’s alleged that there was a huge altercation between Angelina Jolie and her soon-to-be ex-husband at the 2014 Oscars, with one source telling the website that Brad couldn’t get over how annoying it was for Jolie to allegedly try and upstage her husband’s big night with her famous leg pose.

Jolie showed up in a beautiful dress that exposed one side of her leg through the slit-cut design, but according to Radar Online, it allegedly annoyed Brad beyond belief, under the impression that Angelina Jolie was out to steal the limelight from him, which she evidently ended up doing.

Angelina’s leg pose ended up becoming a social media sensation, with users all over the world creating hilarious memes surrounding that particular part of her body. “She behaved so badly that night, trying to steal all the attention from him with her ridiculous leg,” the insider shared.

Angelina Jolie “was so awful to him and his Plan B team that he cut short his own celebration with the 12 Years A Slave co-stars. She wouldn’t let him enjoy the win for even a second,” the source continued.

According to what Radar Online alleges, Jolie and Pitt had a massive argument when they eventually left the ceremony and headed home. Jolie was “getting jealous and bored of Brad and Plan B dominating everything,” so “they had a massive fight that night and agreed to split.”

The interesting part about the report, however, comes as the source acknowledges the obvious fact that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt didn’t tie the knot until months after their wedding day.

And while fans would instantly assume that if the couple had split, they wouldn’t have made the effort to get married, an insider for the outlet reveals that Angelina was convinced that trying to mend the broken relationship with a wedding would supposedly fix their problems, only to then end up filing for divorce two years later. Her supposed plan ended up failing miserably.

Radar Online‘s claims come just weeks after it was claimed that Angelina Jolie was desperate to leave Los Angeles and relocate with her children out to London.

On top of that, TMZ claims that the Salt actress has hired an impressive team of lawyers in the hopes of winning her custody case against Pitt, who is desperate to reason with Angelina on an agreement that will see the Hollywood pair co-parent their kids together.

As it was previously mentioned, Angelina Jolie is currently seeking for sole custody of all the children, citing that Brad reportedly isn’t stable enough to be in the presence of any of their kids by himself, relating back to the actress’ infamous insinuations that Pitt may have been abusive at times.

Brad has strongly denied the claims made by Angelina’s camp and will continue to put up a fight in the nasty custody battle that could potentially cost the duo more than $10 million in fees.
