Kanye West looked to be all smiles at another public appearance weeks after his psychiatric hospitalization. The rapper attended the L.A. Museum of Contemporary Art for an exhibition opening where he chatted normally among guests. Is the media blowing his condition out of proportion?
Kanye West appeared to be perfectly fine as he made another public appearance on Friday. This is just two weeks after he was held in a hospital for “exhaustion” and “sleep deprivation.”

Thirty-nine-year-old West visited the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art’s Leadership Circle and Members’ Opening for the Rick Owens: Furniture exhibition. The exhibition is made up of work by the Paris-based furniture and fashion designer Rick Owens. It was produced by his wife, Michele Lamy.
Kanye was seen smiling and chatting with Lamy throughout the event. The rapper was dressed casually in a graphic long sleeve shirt, black pants, and a black baseball hat.

Kanye had visited the exhibit on December 8, in what is believed to have been his first public appearance since his breakdown. The rapper has mostly stayed out of the spotlight since his hospitalization.
The exhibit is located at the MOCA Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. Kanye’s wife Kim Kardashian was not spotted at the MOCA event.
A source told E! News that despite the rumors, the couple is doing fine.
“They were very sweet together and were very much together. They are going through a lot but from what it seems like they are doing it together and getting through it.”
Another insider confirmed to People that there was no truth to the divorce rumors as well.
“Truly no truth behind divorce rumors. It’s not something she would divorce him over.
“He had a breakdown, but it does not pertain to them not getting along.”
Kanye West surfaced earlier this week as well to meet with President-elect Donald Trump at the Trump Tower residence in New York City.
“I wanted to meet with Trump today to discuss multicultural issues.
“These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago. I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change.”

Kanye West and Donald Trump met to discuss the possibility of the rapper becoming some kind of “ambassador of sorts” for the President-elect.

During the 2015 MTV Music Awards, you may recall that Kanye West claimed that he planned on running for president in 2020. It looks like the rapper has pushed that plan back four years.
According to People, Kanye West is still very much in the midst of recovering from his mental breakdown. By the looks of him, the 39-year-old appeared to be doing okay.
Sources told reporters that his prolonged stay in the hospital was for a bout of psychosis brought on by exhaustion.
“He’s recovering, but not recovered. He’s sick and every day he gets better.”
“He wasn’t making a lot of sense when he talked, and he was texting a lot of strange stuff to people.”
The Donald Trump visit was apparently limited to a 15-minute chat about “life” and “multicultural issues” and concluded with Trump wishing him the best and ordering him to take care of himself.
