Kim Kardashian Overcoming Paris Robbery Paranoia, Attends Christmas Dinner Party

Kim Kardashian is making drastic improvements when it comes to her paranoia following the infamous Paris robbery ordeal.

The reality star was petrified when she was confronted by a group of disguised men at her rented apartment back in October, demanding that she give up her personal belongings, including her $7 million wedding ring that was gifted to her by Kanye West.

Kim Kardashian reportedly told family and friends that she was convinced she wouldn’t make it out alive, but after having pled with the group of men, Kardashian couldn’t believe her luck when she was left unhurt after the frightening incident that left her traumatized for weeks on end.

Kim Kardashian has been making minimal public appearances since the Paris ordeal two months ago, opting to stay behind closed doors for the most part. Sources even said that Kim’s break from social media has been rather refreshing for her because it has allowed her to really focus on her mental health rather than what selfie she would pose for next.

Now that it’s been over two months since the Paris robbery incident took place, it seems as if Kardashian is finally ready to come out of hiding for good.

According to People, the 36-year-old attended Shelli Azoff’s Christmas gathering at The Forum in Los Angeles, where she was accompanied by momager Kris Jenner, who reportedly managed to convince Kardashian to get out of the house for once.

Kim Kardashian had secluded herself from her friends and family members following the traumatic incident in Paris, but from what Hollywood Life has gathered, her decision to accompany her mother to a public event, like the Christmas party she attended this week, is a clear sign that Kim is ready to get her life back on track.

“Kris encouraged Kim Kardashian to get out of her house and go with her to the holiday party of a close, mutual friend,” a source revealed to the outlet. “The fact that it was an all-women affair made it easier for Kim to agree, as she insisted on dressing casual and comfortable.”

Kim Kardashian is more than aware that she can’t hide from the world forever, and spending all of her time behind closed doors isn’t going to do her any good either.

Reports claim that the reality star has been staying under Kris Jenner’s roof since returning from Paris in October. She’s found herself too scared to live in her enormous Bel-Air mansion by herself, especially at the time when her husband Kanye West was still on his “Saint Pablo Tour,” making her that much more conscious of her surroundings and her safety.

A source for Hollywood Life concluded by saying that Kim Kardashian only stayed a “short amount of time,” but the fact that she had the courage to come out of her comfort zone and attend a public gathering was what really mattered the most, particularly for Kris Jenner.

Kim was “happy and smiling” throughout the night, as she “chatted with friends at the party while nibbling on snacks. The reality star enlisted the help of her team of nannies to keep an eye on her children while she had her brief adult night out.”

News of Kim Kardashian’s move to come out of hiding comes just weeks after executive producer Ryan Seacrest confirmed that the forthcoming series of Keeping Up With the Kardashians will heavily focus on Kim’s struggle following the aftermath of what had happened in Paris.

KUWTK is expected to return in January, with an official date yet to be announced by the E! network. Are you excited to get an insight look on what happened after Kim Kardashian returned to Paris?
