JoJo Fletcher And Jordan Rodgers Try To Put Break-Up Rumors To Rest, Talk Wedding And Baby Plans

JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers have battled breakup rumors ever since their engagement on The Bachelorette. Despite all the talk about a coming split, the couple sat down with People and discussed their wedding plans and expanding their family. Will they finally put the break-up rumors to rest?

“We’re still planning on next year. We’re just taking our time,” Rodgers revealed. “We’re enjoying this time in our life and getting to date each other.”

The pair got engaged during the Season 12 finale of The Bachelorette and Rodgers moved into Fletcher’s apartment in Dallas. Although the wedding won’t happened until 2017, Fletcher admitted that she’s thought a lot about the ceremony.

“I think about my wedding dress and seeing Jordan for the first time and how amazing that will be,” she stated. “I know it will be what I dreamed it would be.”

Surprisingly, Perez Hilton reported that Fletcher also opened up about having a baby in the near future. Apparently, daydreaming about a wedding isn’t the only thing on the reality star’s mind.

“I keep envisioning babies,” she admitted. “And I’m like, ‘Wait, JoJo, pump the brakes! Do this in the right order!'”

Until they exchange vows, The Bachelorette couple is focusing on the present and enjoying their time together. “There’s such a big difference between the happiness we felt during the surrealness of the show and the happiness that we have now,” Rodgers explained. “We’re growing together and it’s so much more real.”

Fletcher continued: “We want to keep the promises we made to each other. I’ve never once doubted my decision.”

While things are looking up for the love birds, Yahoo stated that they struggled during the early days of their relationship. To combat all the drama that followed their time on The Bachelorette, JoJo Fletcher admitted that moving in together was the best decision they made.

“When we were apart, I remember thinking: ‘This would be so much better if we were together,'” she admitted. “As soon as it ended I was like: ‘Let’s pack up, let’s move in!’ It was the best thing that could have happened for our relationship.”

Rodgers added: “With all the craziness that comes along with the media and the show, it would have been much harder to do it not living together. And we both cherish the time we get to spend together. It was a no-brainer.”

When it comes to living in Dallas, Rodgers has adjusted well to his new city. Not only does the former NFL quarterback enjoy the variety of restaurants, but he’s also happy to be close to Fletcher’s family.

“I love our area that we’re in,” he admitted. “I love the restaurants that are around us, and her family is here.”

Of course, Fletcher is thrilled to settle down in Dallas, a place she’s called home for many years. “Dallas will always be home for me,” she shared. “It’s a great place for us to initially decide on where to be. We’re taking things one day at a time and seeing where life takes us!”

Rodgers has also become close pals with Fletcher’s German short-haired pointer, Jackson. “We take him to the lake and trails at the park by our house,” Fletcher stated. “We had our first Halloween, now we have our first Christmas tree. Jordan convinced me to get a real tree, which was the best decision ever. We’re starting to build traditions that we’ll have for years to come.”

Based on their comments, it sounds like Fletcher and Rodgers have their future together pretty well mapped out. Whether or not they follow through with their plans is yet to be seen, but they clearly have a great start.
