Chrissy Teigen Heads Off Mommy-Shamers When Sharing Cute Luna Pics, Waving To Daddy John Legend

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are winning the cute baby game, as their petite princess Luna always seems to be smiling, but that doesn’t stop allegedly well-meaning experts on Twitter from chiming in on Luna’s care and welfare. Teigen and Legend became targets for mommy-shaming since before Luna was even born. Now, Teigen tries to head off these people at the pass when it comes to whatever they perceive she is doing wrong for her baby.

John Legend is living up to his name, as he has taken a stand to say if people want to call out his wife, Chrissy Teigen for going out without their baby, they better call him out too, the Inquisitr previously reported. Legend says that going on social media to shame someone about something or someone you don’t even know is absurd. After baby Luna was born, Chrissy left Luna at home and went out to dinner with friends, and she was given a hard time as if she left the baby home alone. But Legend went public to ask why nobody gave him guff for going out or leaving the baby behind, and he says that it’s a double standard that makes no sense.

Model mama Chrissy Teigen shared a video of Luna waving hello to her daddy, John Legend, as he is now out on tour. Teigen posted the video on Instagram, but based on her experience with being taken to task for everything she does with and for Luna, she posted information about Luna’s rosy cheeks, says the Daily Mail. But most importantly, Teigen wanted to let Legend know that he is missed.

“We miss you, papa!! Can’t wait for you to come home!”

Legend is on tour right now in the United Kingdom, and Luna smiles and waves to him in the video while wearing pink footie pajamas. But anticipating the comments from trolls about Luna’s pink cheeks, Chrissy explains that she’s on top of things.

“Yes she has rosy eczema cheeks, yes we are taking care of it. ‘No it’s not a gluten allergy, no it’s not our makeup, no it’s not from our perfume, yes she’s just a baby.”

Eczema is very common in infants, as their skin is soft and new. Sadly, based on experience, Teigen feels it necessary to get out ahead of the criticism, but it seems to be working, as the comments were either neutral or positive.

Entertainment Tonight said that Chrissy Teigen, along with 8-month-old baby Luna, are missing John Legend, as this is Luna’s first Christmas. It’s easy to see that the camera loves Luna as much as it loves her mama. Luna made her debut earlier this year in John Legend’s video for his song “Love Me Now,” and the proud papa says that Luna is no diva.

“She was so good, it was so easy. We just did literally two takes with her. We had to catch her while she was in a good mood.”

But even though Legend says he loves what he does, it’s hard to be away from his girls. Legend says he missed it when Luna said “mama” and “dada” for the first time.

“She said ‘mama’ the other day. I missed it. [Luna] said ‘dada’ as well!”
