Kyle Richards On ‘RHOBH’ Women: Why Vanderpump Makes Her Nervous

Kyle Richards has often been labeled as someone who sucks up to Lisa Vanderpump in hopes of being on her good side. When Richards called out Vanderpump for being calculated in her friendships and compared her to playing chess with Bobby Fischer, Vanderpump was shocked. She clearly didn’t forget that betrayal. But it sounds like Kyle wants to remain friends with Lisa, even though she knows that Vanderpump can be calculated and manipulative to get her way. And in her newest blog for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle reveals that it makes her nervous when her co-stars are speaking with Vanderpump.

According to a new Bravo report, Kyle Richards is now revealing that she gets nervous whenever her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars are speaking to Lisa Vanderpump because she’s worried about what they will say to her. It’s no secret that Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson have issues with Vanderpump, including her poor British humor, but Kyle Richards is always concerned that things will be said that will make it hard for them to go back to being friends.

“Seeing Lisa V interact with both Eileen and Lisa Rinna makes me nervous at times. It is extremely awkward, and it’s written all over my face. I have never been good at hiding my feelings, and at times it looks like I am so nervous watching them all interact after what happened last year. Other times I feel like I’m going to start laughing out of nervousness because you never know what any of them are going to say!” Kyle Richards explained on her blog for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, according to Bravo.

Of course, Richards knows that Lisa won’t apologize for something she has already apologized for once. Both Rinna and Eileen Davidson want apologies from Vanderpump, and they want her to own up to her involvement in the Munchausen-related drama that played out last year on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And while Eileen briefly thought that she would get an apology from her co-star during Dorit Kemsley’s party, Kyle Richards was surprised to see this awkward situation unfold on the show.

“I cringed thinking that Eileen thought Lisa V was apologizing for what happened last year when she was actually saying, ‘I’m sorry… I heard that your mother died’,” Kyle Richards explained on her blog, sharing that she was surprised there could be such a huge confusion about Lisa’s condolences and a possible apology for the behavior last year.

Even though Davidson didn’t get the apology she was hoping for during her conversation with Lisa, Kyle Richards can only see the positive in their interaction. While Davidson didn’t get what she wanted, Kyle turned the conversation from lemons into lemonade – at least they are talking to one another in a cordial manner.

“Yikes. Well at least they had a conversation. That’s a step in the right direction. At least one can hope. The party was a lot of fun and everyone seemed to get along…even if it was just being polite because they were at a party,” Kyle Richards explained on her blog for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, sharing that she sees their interaction as progress, as they can now cordially talk to one another.

What do you think of Kyle Richards’ comments about Lisa Vanderpump? Are you surprised that she’s worried about Vanderpump interacting with the other ladies based on what has happened in the past, or do you think Richards is just trying to keep Vanderpump to herself as she values her friendship with her co-star?
