‘Days Of Our Lives’: Chad And Gabi Caught Kissing – ‘Chabby’ Reunited When DiMera Finds Abigail With Thomas On ‘DOOL’ [Spoilers]

Days Of Our Lives fans have been waiting for “Chabby” to be reunited. So far, Abigail Devereaux (Marci Miller) has just been spying on Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). That is about to change because Chad and Abigail will finally see each other, but not under the circumstances that viewers have been hoping for. Also, Chad and Gabi (Camila Banus) are caught kissing while Abby decides to leave Salem, but not before saying goodbye to her son, Thomas.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Days Of Our Lives spoilers for this week include Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) taking Abigail to see Chad. However, when they open the door, they don’t anticipate seeing him smooching Gabi. At the time, it was not known if Abby really sees this or if her mind was thinking up the worst possible scenarios.

It turns out that it actually does happen, according to Twitter user jmcrenny. Abigail sees Chad and Gabi kissing, then decides to leave town. Before she does, Abby wants to say goodbye to her son, Thomas. However, Chad ends up encountering her in the DiMera mansion.

For a lot of soap opera fans, this storyline has dragged on long enough. It’s great to want to add suspense, but “Chabby” fans think it has been way too long. So, it’s nice that Chad and Abigail will finally come face to face. However, the bad news is that Chad might not react very well to finding out Abby was alive this whole time. Everything he went through after her death was heartbreaking. Plus, he almost lost custody of Thomas. There will also be drama when he finds out that Andre helped fake her death. After she came back to Salem, Chad won’t like that Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) and JJ Devereaux (Casey Moss) kept Abby’s secret.

Obviously, Chad sees Abigail when she tries to say goodbye to her son, so she probably won’t be leaving town. How will she explain her decision to disappear and fake her death? Fans know she was having a mental health crisis and probably wasn’t acting rationally. However, she is better now and it’s difficult to understand why she wouldn’t want to let everyone know that she is alive.

In an interview with Soaps.com, Billy Flynn revealed that Chad will feel betrayed by Abigail. He also teased that he will always love Abby, but they have grown since her “death.” Now, they are two completely different people. However, executive producer Ken Corday teased a few months ago that he wants fans to root for “Chabby” and added they have a lot of issues to work out. Based on those conflicting responses, it is hard to tell if Chad and Abigail will reconcile or go their separate ways.

Other Days Of Our Lives spoilers include two prison inmates who are prepared to take down Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and Gabi testing JJ. As for next week, expect Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) to get worried when Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) doesn’t return to Salem. On December 20, John-Paul Lavoisier will end his role on DOOL as Philip Kiriakis. Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will go with Adrienne (Judi Evans) to her chemotherapy appointment. Finally, the annual Horton Christmas ornament hanging event will take place, just like it does every year.
