Christina Aguilera’s Halloween costume gave the singer another opportunity to show off her famous curves, according to US Weekly. Although there wasn’t necessarily a theme to speak of, this didn’t stop the outfit from turning some heads.
With cleavage front and center, Christina Aguilera hosted a Halloween bash at her Beverly Hills home on October 27. The singer’s boyfriend, Matthew Rutler, was also in attendance as a knight in shining armor. While his chainmail did clash a bit with Aguilera’s fishnet stockings, black boots, pink wig, and sparkling crown, this didn’t seem to phase the couple in the least.
While some might balk at the singer’s revealing costume, Aguilera is apparently quite happy with her body and doesn’t seem to care what others might think. During a recent press conference, The Voice co-host Adam Levine jumped to the singer’s defense. In short, if you want to mess with Christina, you’ll have to go through him first.
“The one thing about the culture right now, celebrity culture particularly, is people feel like they can just say nasty things about other people whether it’s Christina or whether it’s me,” Levine explained to People. “She gets a lot and it pisses me off. Of course I have her back and of course I defend her.”
“It’s not cool. I’ve never liked it,” Levine added. “I think it’s horrible and I’ll totally defend [Christina] when people say things like that because it’s no one’s business.
As for the duo’s legendary scuffles on The Voice, Levine revealed that the truth isn’t always what it seems. “The fights that everyone thought we were having were fictional,” he explained. “We never hated each other. We never had these secret battles that everyone thought we were having.”
If Levine is ready and willing to come to the singer’s defense, he may want to get ready; Twitter reactions to the costume have been mixed, to say the least.
“There’s also a fat lady wearing a Christina Aguilera costume,” one user wrote in response to the pictures currently making the rounds.
