The 100 Season 4 spoilers have been minimal for the past few months. However, on Wednesday, a new trailer was released and the upcoming season looks amazing. Watch it below and find out everything that is known so far.
Spoilers are ahead. If you want to remain completely surprised when The CW series returns in 2017, then stop reading.
On the Season 3 finale of The 100, Clarke (Eliza Taylor) stopped ALIE (Erica Cerra), even after the artificial intelligence warned of the nuclear crisis that was coming to Earth. Going into Season 4 of the post-apocalyptic TV show, the Sky Crew and the rest of the characters will have to find a way to survive it. Showrunner Jason Rothenberg previously teased that there is no stopping the nuclear disaster. It is coming and the characters will simply have to find a way to try to survive. That will be difficult since 96 percent of the Earth will be uninhabitable.
That is the focus of Season 4 and there are scenes in the new trailer, posted on YouTube by The CW network showing incredible special effects as human bodies fall to their knees, burning alive from the inside out. Sores and lesions appear on bodies, acid rain falls, causing survivors to scream in pain, and it is warned that there will be no drinkable water. There are also rows of dead bodies in bags lined up. However, there is a lot more going on and some of it has nothing to do with the second apocalypse.
In The 100 Season 4 trailer, Clarke gives a speech, trying to encourage the Sky Crew despite the grim circumstances. She promises that they won’t just survive, but will thrive. Later, Monty (Christopher Larkin) vents and tells Clarke that “all for the people” is the same justification that she always uses. Raven (Lindsey Morgan) is being shot at and she tries to hide behind a tree. Later in the clip, she is lying down and appears to be in a lot of pain.
Raven (Lindsey Morgan) is being shot at and she tries to hide behind a tree. Later in the clip, she is lying down and appears to be in a lot of pain. At one point, she says that they need to ride out the radiation and find someplace safe. Could she know of a place? A few months ago, the Inquisitr speculated that since Raven Reyes received an “ALIE upgrade,” that she might know of the four percent of the Earth that will still be livable. Perhaps she will find an old fallout shelter?
There are also a lot of fighting scenes between different characters and groups. Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) has been given the nickname “Sky Ripper” and she is on a killing spree. On Instagram, it was teased months ago that she would be “Ninja Octavia.” The video clip certainly shows that is a good description. Indra (Adina Porter) tells Roan she is proud after Roan says people are saying Octavia is the “Sky Ripper.” At one point, Clarke faces Roan and a Grounder army (Zach McGowan) by herself.

Also, expect to see Kane (Henry Ian Cusick) and Abby (Paige Turco) together. However, he seems to be doing something that is angering others. He threatens to shoot people if anyone else “touches this man.” Later, he explains that he doesn’t want his people to die, but is trying to save them. As for Jaha (Isaiah Washington), he will have a new look.
In The 100 Season 4 trailer, it appears that Bellamy (Bob Morley) might be redeemed. Bellamy and Clarke are talking to someone and he tells them that he will not sacrifice any other people. Roan is seen in multiple fights and he is told by Echo that she can help him rule everything.
What do you think of the new trailer? What are your predictions on what will happen in the upcoming season?
The 100 Season 4 premieres February 1 on The CW network.
