Did Tarek El Moussa And Wife Christina El Moussa Hide Their Divorce From ‘Flip Or Flop’ Viewers?

Tarek El Moussa and his wife, Christina El Moussa, have reportedly been split up since earlier this year, but on Instagram, their breakup was never revealed. In fact, up until just weeks ago, the Flip or Flop couple appeared to be together.

In addition to the former couple spending tons of quality time with their two kids, daughter Taylor Reese, six, and son James Brayden, one, Tarek El Moussa sent a shoutout to his estranged wife just four weeks ago which included a screenshot that revealed he was listening to “Amazing” by Lonestar.

“#Amazing song @christinaelmoussa,” Tarek El Moussa wrote in the caption of his Instagram update.

The song features lyrics, including, “Every time our eyes meet / This feeling inside me / Is almost more than I can take / Baby, when you touch me / I can feel how much you love me / And it just blows me away.”

Because of Tarek El Moussa’s Instagram feed, which has included photos of Christina and members of Christina’s family in recent weeks, Radar Online has claimed their recent split is “not so real.” According to the report, Tarek El Moussa and his now-estranged wife have been separated since May, but despite the end of their relationship, the television star has allegedly continued to “scam” viewers of their HGTV house-flipping show.

Christina El Moussa has added to the rumored “scam” as well, claiming just weeks ago that she “loved” her husband.

While Tarek El Moussa’s marriage seemed to be intact just weeks ago, at least according to social media, he and Christina have reportedly begun dating other people in recent months. Earlier this week, after the couple confirmed their separation with the press, a People Magazine source revealed that both parties had allegedly moved on from their marriage.

According to the report, Tarek El Moussa is “dating other people” while his estranged wife Christina has reportedly embarked on a relationship with a “fellow design industry professional.”

Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa confirmed their separation on Monday, December 12, after TMZ shared news of an alleged incident that had reportedly taken place between them in May.

“We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed,” the couple said in a statement to People Magazine.

According to the TMZ report, a scary incident involving guns and a feared suicide attempt allegedly took place this past spring. As the outlet claimed, 11 deputies and a helicopter responded to “a call of a possibly suicidal male with a gun” at the couple’s Orange County home.

As witnesses reportedly revealed, Tarek El Moussa was allegedly seen grabbing a gun from his safe and fleeing his home on foot. A short time afterwards, his wife was reportedly seen running from the home crying and shaking.

“Within minutes, the helicopter spotted Tarek on a trail and deputies told him to drop his weapon. Tarek complied and told deputies he had no intention of hurting himself,” the outlet revealed, claiming the television star told police he wanted to “blow off some steam” and brought the gun with him for mountain lions and rattlesnakes.

After arriving to Tarek El Moussa’s home, authorities reportedly seized five guns, including an AR-15.

“During the process, we are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be,” Christina Tarek El Moussa continued in their statement. “We will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together.”
