Warrant Issued For ‘That’s So Raven’ Actor Orlando Brown’s Arrest

That’s So Raven actor Orlando Brown is facing arrest after failing to show up for a court hearing.

Brown was scheduled to appear before a judge earlier this month to prove that he had completed a court-mandated alcohol education program. The program was part of a plea deal he struck in 2011 over a DUI charge. After Brown missed his hearing, a judge issued a bench warrant against him for $26,000.

This is the third time Brown has missed a court date. He was previously issued two other bench warrants in May and July, both of which stemmed from the 2011 DUI charge. Both warrants were also issued for failing to show up for court.

The 24-year-old actor was first busted in August of last year after police officers pulled him over for driving without a license plate. When they went in for a closer look, they smelled alcohol and administered a field sobriety test, which Brown failed.

Brown later insisted that he wasn’t driving before he was arrested. He said he had a few glasses of wine while waiting for a female friend in the parking lot outside of his home. He said he and the friend were sitting in the car listening to his new CD but that he never had any intention of driving anywhere. The police didn’t comment on his version of events.

The actor’s reps have yet to comment on this latest non-appearance, and, so far, no reason has been given for why Brown has repeatedly failed to show up for court.
