Tom Cruise Neighbor Arrested After Trespassing At Star’s Home

TMZ is reporting that a suspected prowler was shot with a stun gun and arrested at Tom Cruise’s Beverly Hills, California home Sunday.

According to the popular celebrity gossip site, the alleged trespassing occurred at 9:35 pm when a security guard saw someone attempting to hop a fence on Cruise’s property in order to access the star’s house. The guard then tasered the suspect and notified the police.

“Upon arrival, officers contacted a lone male suspect who was attempting to leave the location. The suspect had been previously detained by a security officer, who was on duty at the residence and had observed the suspect climbing a fence to gain access to the property,” the police department said in a statement issued to the Los Angeles Times Sunday night.

Neither Tom nor any of his family members were at the residence at the time of the incident.

E!Online reports that the prowler, who was treated at a nearby hospital for injuries related to the tasering, was later identified as Jason Sullivan, 41, a neighbor who reportedly entered the Cruise’s property in a drunken fit.

“Sullivan lives at an adjacent property and was intoxicated at the time of the incident and may have confused himself and entered the wrong property,” police said in a statement.

In other related news, Tom Cruise recently filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against Life & Style and In Touch Weekly over multiple reports that claimed the actor had abandoned his six-year-old daughter Suri.
