Jennifer Garner And Ben Affleck Spotted Together At Church Amid Reconciliation Rumors

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck may not be back together, but they sure do spend a lot of time with one another.

As rumors continue to swirl in regard to the couple’s potential reconciliation, Garner and Affleck continue to co-parent their three children — Violet, 11, Seraphina, 7, and Samuel, 4 — while living together at their Los Angeles home.

Nearly two years after they reportedly separated following about 10 years of marriage, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have not yet pursued their plan for divorce. Instead, Jennifer Garner and her husband continue to be spotted together in Los Angeles, and on Sunday, they attended church.

On December 11, the Daily Mail shared photos of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck at church with their kids. In the photos, Garner is seen wearing a blue dress with black heels and a black blazer while Affleck kept things more casual in a gray sweater and jeans.

Although the estranged couple arrived at the church separately, Affleck sported a big smile as he was seen outside the venue, where Jennifer Garner is considered to be a regular congregant.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck announced their separation in June of 2015 with a joint statement to People Magazine just one day after what would have been their 10-year wedding anniversary.

“After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce,” the couple explained in a joint statement. “We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding.”

One year later, a source told Entertainment Tonight that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck still hadn’t filed paperwork for divorce and claimed they didn’t know if they ever would. The source also said the actors were “making it work” as Affleck continued to live at their property in Brentwood, California, “but in separate living quarters,” another source told the outlet.

Following their split, Ben Affleck was targeted with allegations of having had an affair with his former nanny, Christine Ouzounian. However, according to Jennifer Garner, she knew nothing of Affleck’s rumored romance with Ouzounian until months after she and the Batman v Superman actor parted ways.

“Let me just tell you something,” Jennifer Garner said during an interview with Vanity Fair magazine in February. “We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny. She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation. Bad judgment? Yes. It’s not great for your kids for [a nanny] to disappear from their lives.”

Even months after the situation unfolded, Jennifer Garner revealed that she was still dealing with the fallout from the alleged romance.

“I have had to have conversations about the meaning of ‘scandal,'” she explained.

Since parting ways with Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck has been linked to the likes of Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lopez, who he dated prior to his marriage, and she was briefly linked to her ex-boyfriend, Michael Vartan.

According to a report months ago, a source claimed Jennifer Garner was allegedly reaching out to Michael Vartan, whom she dated over a decade ago, for support as she struggled with her relationship with Affleck.

“She’s always crying on Michael’s shoulder,” an insider revealed to Radar Online in June.

Meanwhile, “Ben thinks something is going on with her and Michael,” the insider continued, “but he doesn’t know if it’s just manipulative to piss him off or if it’s legit they would like to get back together.”
