‘RHONY’ Star Dorinda Medley Is Getting Married! Should She Wed Bad Boy John Mahdessian? [Poll]

Dorinda Medley just dropped a huge wedding announcement, and it has nothing to do with her Real Housewives of New York co-star Luann de Lesseps. Instead, the reality star revealed that she is about to tie the knot with John Mahdessian.

Is Medley making a huge mistake marrying the controversial bad boy?

The RHONY star told Radar Online that she and Mahdessian are going to exchange vows in the near future.

“I’m getting married!” she revealed. “Our lives are just so busy and hectic in New York that any downtime is great time.”

Medley went on to gush about her romance with Mahdessian. Not only do they spend a lot of time together in the Big Apple, but Medley believes they are the perfect fit.

“The thing about New York is that it is so intense and there are just so many people. One of the biggest luxuries for John and I is that we just get to be together. We like to do normal things and just hang out together, watch TV, go for walks and, of course, cook,” Medley shared.

Mahdessian added, “She says that she is the peanut butter and I am the jelly, but together we are amazing.”

Medley was formerly married to Richard Medley, who passed away back in 2011 from kidney failure. Richard was 60-years-old when he died, and it took a long time for Medley to move on with her life.

“After Richard passed I just try to move forward,” Medley explained. “Life is life and you have to go with it. It is not about the bumps. It is how you deal with the bumps.”

Of course, Medley’s relationship with Mahdessian hasn’t been smooth sailing. In fact, Medley rejected Mahdessian’s proposal on Season 7 of RHONY. Given the rejection, Reality Tea is reporting that Medley might have been joking about the coming nuptials.

After all, Medley has been talking nonstop about de Lesseps upcoming wedding with Tom D’Agostino. Perhaps all the wedding talk inspired Medley to tie the knot herself, although the announcement is still completely random.

Sadly, Medley stopped short of dishing any details about the engagement. Until more information is revealed, there’s no telling if Medley is serious about marrying Mahdessian.

According to Reality Tea, Dorinda Medley is known for speaking her mind in public. While creating drama is a requirement on RHONY, Medley is never afraid to let everyone know what she’s really thinking. Most recently, the reality star allegedly threatened to close an open bar at a charity even because people weren’t donating enough money.

Medley put on a benefit for Beauty for Freedom last week, which several of her co-stars attended. Despite the high-profile attendees, Medley took to social media to confirm reports that she almost shut down the bar.

“Luckily, the threat worked and party-goers pulled out their credit cards for the cause,” Medley told fans.

Given how the majority of the RHONY cast was on-hand during the benefit, the drama is likely going to be part of the coming season.

Wetpaint reports that Medley also shared a few pictures from the event on Instagram, including a few shots of her and Mahdessian. Is this further proof that she is getting ready to tie the knot?

The new season of The Real Housewives of New York is expected to premiere sometime in 2017 on Bravo.
