Erika Girardi Birthday Party: Did ‘RHOBH’ Star Actually Film For ‘The Young And The Restless’?

Erika Girardi may have had her issues with her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars last year, but she has decided to move forward and not focus too much on older issues. Even though she called Lisa Vanderpump calculated and hinting that she had created a web of lies, she still invited her to her birthday party. Girardi wanted all of the ladies to get together and start off the new season on the right foot. And it sounds like her birthday party was held without any troubles.

According to a new Bravo report, Erika Girardi is now revealing that she had a great party and she really enjoyed catching up with her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars during a lunch that she attended just days prior. Here, she got to hear how things were going with Eileen Davidson on the set of The Young and The Restless and how Kyle Richards was doing with the casting for her own show about her life.

“Eileen is still going strong on The Young & The Restless and Kyle has a brand new TV show based on her life. It’s amazing,” Erika Girardi wrote in her Bravo blog for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, sharing that she herself has been super busy with her alter-ego, Erika Jayne.

Since last season, things have really gone great for Erika and her music. As she revealed on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, her music is ranking quite well on iTunes and she’s surprised that she’s doing so well when it comes to a brand new audience – the Bravo audience. Before the show, she would perform at gay clubs and larger venues across the country, but because of her role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, people are now buying her music to support her.

And maybe it is her love for music that resulted in her Studio 54 theme for her birthday party, which was featured on the first episode of the season. As Erika Girardi explains in her Bravo blog for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she really wanted to do something fun and exciting but she had no idea that Kyle Richards actually had a connection to Studio 54.

“I’m happy to share my 45th birthday with you all. Turning 45 is a big one so I wanted to really go for it this year,” Erika Girardi explains about her birthday party, according to Bravo, adding, “As a performer, I’ve always been very inspired by Andy Warhol and the Studio 54 era– the wardrobe, the glamour, the free-spirited underground club world. My birthday party in this week’s episode brought that to life for me on a whole other level and I thought the ladies – Kyle, Eileen, LVP, Rinna, Dorit – looked fabulous. I was happy they were all able to make it. We had a great time.”

But most of all, Erika Girardi was surprised that Eileen Davidson gave her a guest role on The Young and The Restless. While Erika was excited about this opportunity, she was also worried that she would disappoint. So, did she go through with it?

“I was absolutely blown away by the gift Eileen gave to me for my birthday. I mean, a guest role on her show The Young & The Restless?! Seriously?! What an incredible surprise. I’m excited for everyone to see the episode on December 15th. Make sure to tune in! Eileen – Thank you again for the fabulous gift and opportunity,” Erika Girardi explains in her blog, sharing that she did go forward with the offer to film a scene or two for the show and the episode will air this week.
