Jennifer Lawrence And Chris Pratt’s ‘Passengers’ Sex Scene: Co-Stars Joke About Body Parts And Bowel Problems

Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt had some pretty shocking things to say about their Passengers sex scene during a recent promotional appearance.

The co-stars participated in BBC Radio 1’s “Playground Insults” segment on Monday, and they proved to be pros at roasting one another. Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt started the competition by trying to stare each other down, but all that intense eye action didn’t intimidate Lawrence — it just made her crack up so much that she had a difficult time holding back the giggles while she lobbed her first insult at Pratt.

As Entertainment Tonight reports, Jennifer Lawrence attempted to emasculate her adversary by telling Chris Pratt that his petite wife, Anna Faris, is tougher than he is.

“You are so falsely strong that if I was given a choice of you or your wife to protect me, I would choose Anna,” Jennifer said.

She also used Chris and Anna’s son, Jack, to insult Chris’ intelligence.

“You are so stupid that your 3-year-old son has probably taught you everything you know,” she said.

“How does it feel being in the stupidest Marvel movie,” Pratt fired back, referencing Lawrence’s work in the one of the three X-Men movies that she has starred in.

Other insults included digs at Adele’s singing and Pratt’s lack of an Oscar, and Jennifer Lawrence came shockingly close to oversharing about how she grooms her most intimate area. However, 26-year-old Jennifer decided to crack a joke about her 37-year-old co-star’s age instead of comparing his beard to her ladybits. After Chris made a quip about how much fake hair Jennifer wears, she brought up their Passengers sex scene.

“Before our sex scene, I took two Pepto Bismol,” Jennifer Lawrence said, suggesting that the thought of having to fake love-making with Chris Pratt gave her heartburn, indigestion, nausea, upset stomach, or diarrhea.

Pratt fired back with the barb that ended the competition.

“During our sex scene, I felt your d**k rubbing into me.”

Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt were obviously just joking around, but Lawrence has actually admitted that she had to swallow something to help her make it through her Passengers sex scene with Pratt. However, it wasn’t Pepto Bismol — the actress needed something much stronger to survive the awkward shooting of her very first sex scene.

“I got really, really drunk,” Lawrence told the Hollywood Reporter.

During an interview with Vanity Fair, Chris Pratt said that he joined Jennifer in boozing it up before the filming of their intimate onscreen moment, and he revealed what their drink of choice was.

“She wanted to have some wine, so we did, and that was nice,” Pratt said.

However, getting wasted before kissing Chris didn’t make Jennifer Lawrence feel more comfortable about faking coitus with him. According to the actress, she really struggled with the idea of shooting a sex scene with Pratt because he’s a married man.

“But then that led to more anxiety when I got home because I was like, ‘What have I done? I don’t know.’ And he was married. And it was going to be my first time kissing a married man, and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach. And I knew it was my job, but I couldn’t tell my stomach that.”

Jennifer even called her mom to get reassurance that what she did was okay.

Jennifer Lawrence has kissed a few other men onscreen, including her Hunger Games co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth. However, as People reports, Lawrence didn’t get nearly as anxious about pretending to swap spit with the unmarried actors.

“I was like, ‘Who cares?’ and I’d eat mustard and tuna,” Lawrence told talk show host Graham Norton.

Liam Hemsworth confirmed that his co-star made kissing scenes “uncomfortable” by “eating garlic or tuna fish or something that was disgusting” and not brushing her teeth before she locked lips with him.

Jennifer Lawrence revealed that she didn’t make Chris Pratt taste her fish breath during their kissing scene in Passengers— she was more respectful of Pratt’s nose and decided to snack on mints before pretending to make out with him.

Passengers is a sci-fi movie about two hibernating spaceship passengers who wake up way too early during a 120-year flight from Earth to another planet. They end up falling for each other while the ship seemingly starts falling apart around them.
