Editors Note: This story was based on a fan made trailer that was released a year ago and has recently gone viral again. There is no full trailer yet released for GoT, only a behind the scenes teaser trailer released last week.

News about the upcoming new season of Game Of Thrones has become another trending topic online as fans wait for HBO’s award-winning epic drama’s return in 2017.

In most the recent news, fans of the show were treated to the first full-length Game Of Thrones Season 7 trailer, which showcases an apparent battle that involves both fire and ice.

As seen on the Game Of Thrones Season 7 trailer, Jon Snow will be taking the spotlight after the mind-blowing revelation that he is most likely a Targaryen in Season 6.

Game Of Thrones Season 7 spoilers have attested to this fact and had played around a bit on what will happen to him next.

The big revelation led to some speculations that Jon Snow will soon be siding with Daenerys Targaryen, which are supported by photos and videos of the two taken by some resourceful GoT fans and featured on the website Watchers On The Wall in October.

Now, actress Ellie Kendrick is indulging a Game Of Thrones filial theory about another of Jon Snow’s possible relatives: Meera Reed.

According to the theory, Lyanna Stark gave birth to twins in the Tower Of Joy. During Season 6, one of those babies has been confirmed to be Jon Snow whom Ned Stark took under his wing and introduced as his bastard son.

The theory known as the “R+L=J&M” states that Lyanna was not kidnapped by Rhaegar Targaryen but came with him on her own accord because she was in love with him. It also states that the forbidden love resulted in the birth of twins that are allegedly Jon and Meera.

Check out the theory posted on Reddit.

While the Game Of Thrones Season 7 trailer did not give anything away regarding this matter, an Inverse interview with Kendrick. who plays Meer, a revealed her thoughts– and possible Game Of Thrones Season 7spoilers—on whether her character might indeed be Jon’s long lost sister.

“I don’t really get as involved in them [fan theories], purely because it would drive me mad, because I’ve got no way of knowing whether it would be true or not. Because we genuinely don’t get told; the secrecy is so intense,” she began.

After that, she continued to talk about hoping to have the answer on whether or not the theory was true and how she felt about it if it is.

“Sometimes I wish I could give people answers when they’re like ‘is this theory true?’ and I’m like ‘I dunno, it might be?’ I mean, that Jon Snow and Meera theory, it would be lovely for me if it were true, because it would be a really interesting thing for Meera.”

The Game Of Thrones Season 7 trailer highlighted the big battle between ice and fire but it might just be a ruse to redirect our attention from Jon’s family tree.

Thinking about it, the fan theory based the idea on Ned and Howland Reed “pulling a Yoda” by separating Jon and Meera to save them.

Analyzing the show’s progress so far, Jon Snow continued to rise up from a bastard from the North to becoming the King In The North in a span of six seasons. Meanwhile, Meera survived every dilemma that came her way and got stuck with no less than Bran Stark, the new Three-Eyed Raven.

Could it be possible that the two characters’ fate had been intertwined in such a way that they will find each other in the end to save Westeros with the Mother Of Dragons by their side?

We have exactly 13 episodes to find out. In the meantime, let’s enjoy the Game Of Thrones Season 7 teaser trailer below. Game Of Thrones Season 7 airs in Summer 2017, while Season 8—the show’s final season—is expected to air sometime in 2018.
