Week Two NFL Power Rankings


1. Pittsburgh Steelers- Losing Polamalu hurts, but this is a great team

2. New York Giants- Umenyiora is back, and the offense is fine

3. New England Patriots- had a little scar with Buffalo, but they are still the Pats

4. Atlanta Falcons- Tony Gonzales may have been the missing piece

5. Baltimore Ravens- improved offense, great defense this is a no brainer

6. Tennessee Titans- A solid team on their way to a very good season

7. Minnesota Vikings- They get an easy week at the Lions

8. Indianapolis Colts- They need a young receiver to step up, but who counts out Peyton?

9. San Diego Chargers- A for talent, D for coaching, almost lost to the Raiders

10. Philadelphia Eagles- losing McNabb hurts, but he will be back

11. Dallas Cowboys- We shall have a better read on them after hosting the Giants this week

12. New Orleans Saints- They can score at will, but beating up the Lions is child’s play

13. Green Bay Packers- Aaron Rodgers was ready to be a NFL QB, of that there is no doubt

14. New York Jets- Sanchez is looking good

15. San Francisco 49ers- a true surprise here, team has looked good so far

16. Buffalo Bills- a mistake on special teams costs them a win over the Patriots

17. Washington Redskins- Need an offensive upgrade

18. Chicago Bears, Urlacher is out, Cutler looks terrible

19. Carolina Panthers- Delhomme seems to be broken

20. Arizona Cardinals- Big time Super Bowl Hangover

21. Miami Dolphins- Wildcat stuck in neutral, offense has big problems

22. Houston Texans- Got whipped by the jets, but look to bounce back

23. Seattle Seahawks- Hasselbeck is healthy, they may be far better than all of us thought

24. Jacksonville Jaguars- lacking some key offensive playmakers

25. Oakland Raiders- Cable has them playing good fundamentals

26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Raheem Morris has a lot of work to do

27. Denver Broncos- a luck play secures a win versus the Bengals. Not a good sign

28. Cincinnati Bengals- almost beat the Broncos, but they are still the Bengals

29. Kansas City Chiefs- They need Cassel badly

30. Cleveland Browns- No QB could save this team

31. St. Louis Rams- they get blanked and look hapless

32. Detroit Lions- Until they win a game they stay right here
