Farrah Abraham Casts Shade On ‘Teen Mom’ Women, Explains Why MTV Gives Her Preferential Treatment

Teen Mom OG star Farrah Abraham cast serious shade on her fellow teen moms this week while making a claim that she receives special treatment from the network, according to a new report this week.

Farrah Abraham made those comments after the Teen Mom OG season finale reunion special aired, an episode that revealed fellow co-star Amber Portwood attempting to slap Farrah Abraham for calling her fiancé a pedophile. The 25-year-old reality TV star told Us Weekly that she receives special treatment from MTV because the way she acts on and off the set is significantly different than the other females on the show, according to Farrah Abraham.

“I get better treatment because I’m a hardworking business mogul and amazing mother who holds herself with respect and keeps production accountable and always goes above and beyond what is asked. And I stay above the trash they have on the show.”

Farrah Abraham leveled the criticism at the Teen Mom OG stars after the women walked off the reunion special in protest of the preferential treatment Farrah Abraham receives from the network. MTV is not to blame for the superior treatment Farrah Abraham receives, the Teen Mom OG star told Us Weekly.

“Sadly, the girls are not taken seriously because of how they conduct themselves, and they’re to blame, not me… Maci [Bookout], Catelynn [Lowell] and Amber [Portwood] conduct themselves unprofessionally, disrespectfully and immaturely. Since 16 and Pregnant, Amber has tried to fight me, and Maci and Catelynn have been jealous.”

While Amber Portwood was remorseful following the Teen Mom OG reunion incident, Farrah Abraham would not let up the attack of her Teen Mom OG counterparts. In an interview with Too Fab, Farrah Abraham hurled multiple insults at her fellow moms before saying she would continue the Teen Mom OG series with or without Maci, Catelynn, and Amber next season.

“I could probably slug all three of the Stooges in one breath and knock them all out. That’s how little they are compared to me… They’re a joke. I hope that they’ve learned from their embarrassment. I’m moving on and the next season will be amazing, with or without them.”

It’s not just the stars of Teen Mom OG that have commanded the attention — and criticisms — from Farrah Abraham. Teen Mom 2 stars Chelsea Houska and Kailyn Lowry were also targeted in recent comments that Farrah Abraham made to Too Fab, suggesting that the women used pregnancies to hold onto fame.

“I’ve been pro-take [the Teen Mom series] off the air for many years because I’m not OK with seeing women who are getting pregnant worried about being famous like Chelsea Houska, Kailyn Lowry… It’s sad to me that these women who I meet/see, so eager to be famous.”

Like Amber Portwood during the Teen Mom OG reunion last week, Kailyn Lowry went after Farrah Abraham swinging — at least verbally. The Teen Mom 2 star called out Farrah Abraham for her past indiscretions as well as her attitude in general, according to recent interview with an online media outlet.

“The thing with Farrah is that she’s so negative all the time. She never has anything nice to say about anybody on the cast…Her exact words were that Chelsea and I got pregnant again for fame, but Chelsea and I were both married and in our mid twenties. Farrah is out here doing pornos to stay relevant.”

Teen Mom OG follows four of the original 16 & Pregnant stars as they deal with real-life motherhood challenges they face. Farrah Abraham remains one of the best-known stars from Teen Mom OG — a series that started in 2009 after the original series went off the air.
