LeBron, Khloe Feuding Over Her Treatment Of Cavs’ Fans, Tristan Stuck In The Middle?
LeBron James and Khloe Kardashian are rumored to be feuding over her recent attack on his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers fans, leaving star forward Tristan Thompson uncomfortably wedged in the middle.
All of the most recent drama started when Kardashian took to social media to blast Cavs’ fans who unflatteringly referred to the so-called “Kardashian Kurse” as a potential factor in the team’s recent three-game slide.
The four-time MVP, three-time champion James let it be known he thought Kardashian was being too harsh by taunting fans to “lick on my balls” for daring to criticize her.
“The fans mean everything to LeBron, and be [sic] thought Khloe telling one of them to perform oral sex on her was going too far,” a source added. “He doesn’t want her to go around bashing the hometown admirers in such a harsh way.”
Talk of the so-called “Kardashian Kurse” largely came to life during the time of Kardashian’s hard-luck marriage to former NBA star Lamar Odom, which ended with Odom out of the league and reported to be suffering from a severe drug addiction.
Kardashian also dated Houston Rockets star James Harden during the time his team slipped from a No. 2 seed in the Western Conference all the way down to a No. 8 and sister Kim was infamously wedded to NBA veteran Kris Humphries for all of 72 days.
Earlier this year, Khloe was also briefly linked to NFL star Odell Beckham, Jr., who many fans point out just so happened to get off to the slowest start of his three-year career.
Kardashian and Thompson have been dating for months now and word is this isn’t the first time James and the veteran big man have perhaps seen her in a different light.
Several media outlets previously reported James kicked off the Cavs’ defense of their NBA title by warning Thompson about the reality TV star becoming a distraction and having her hanging around at too many team functions.
“LeBron is not going to take any nonsense and if Tristan starts focusing on being on TV and being a celebrity while dating Khloe, then that is where the problems will come,” said a source. “LeBron wants everyone to be ready to repeat as champs and bring another title to Cleveland.”
Thompson is said to have held firm, insisting that Kardashian should be free to attend as many games as she likes.
After their recent three-game slide, the Cavs have seemingly regrouped, winning three straight, including thrashing the Eastern Conference rival New York Knicks by 32 points at Madison Square Garden on national TV after Knicks president Phil Jackson engaged in a brief war of words with James that ended with him claiming he had lost all respect for the 11-time coaching champion.
Overall, the Cavs now lead the Toronto Raptors in the East by a full-game at 16-5. Of some concern to James could be the fact that pace still leaves the Cavs’ three games behind the Golden State Warriors (20-3) and the Big 4 of Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green in the race for the league’s top seed.
James also started the season openly discussing his desire to close ground on Michael Jordan in gaining the unofficial mantle of greatest ever. In order to do that, James strongly hinted that he’s convinced the Cavs will need to fend off all challengers in defense of their crown.
Jordan won six titles with the Bulls, all of them over a stretch of eight seasons. He walked away from the game for nearly two seasons after winning his first three, then returned to win three more in a row.
