Niall Horan Didn’t Reveal Liam Payne And Cheryl Cole’s Baby Gender As His Pink Gifts Were For Another 1D Family Member’s Kid

Niall Horan was photographed stepping out of a West Hollywood baby store with a basket full of pink gifts making some speculate that he unknowingly revealed Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole’s baby gender. A Hollywood Life report initially lauded the Irish crooner for fulfilling his “uncle duties.” The report went on to speculate that Liam and Cheryl might become upset because the One Direction member revealed such an important detail about their unborn child.

While it is true that Niall purchased baby gifts from the boutique, Gossip Cop reported that they weren’t for Liam and Cheryl’s baby, but for a daughter of another key 1D family member – Ben Winston. Ben has helped the production of several One Direction concert films. His wife recently gave birth to a girl, which Niall even announced on his Instagram page.

Liam and Cheryl have chosen not to issue statements regarding their baby. For months, speculations have risen about the X Factor judge’s pregnancy, but it wasn’t until last week when it was confirmed. She attended a Christmas event with the Made in the A.M. crooner and debuted her baby bump. It is believed that Cheryl is on her second trimester.

The couple started dating earlier this year after Cheryl’s divorce with former husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez Versini was finalized. Liam, on the other hand, dated high school friend Sophia Smith for two years before calling it quits because of the band’s grueling commitments. Even if Liam and Cheryl’s romance is fairly new, the former Girls Aloud member recently said that she’s in a truly happy state.

Meanwhile, thousands of Directioners across the globe are shocked with the passing of Louis Tomlinson’s mother, Johannah Deakin, at the young age of 43. Cheryl was one of the first ones to extend her sympathies to the family.

Johannah’s death came as a shock for she appeared to be in her prime. It turned out that since May, she had been in the hospital fighting leukemia in silence. Her husband, Dan, released a heartfelt tribute for the woman he considered the best partner. He talked of her charitable activities when she was still alive. Dan and Johannah got married in 2014 in which Louis was the Best Man.

“It wasn’t uncommon for Johannah to hear through the media of an individual in need of assistance, and she would immediately make it her objective to get that person what they often desperately needed, and rarely without success.”

Louis’ mother was a significant figure when he was still starting out in the industry. It was even Johannah who took the One Direction boys’ first photo after the X Factor judges formed the group. Johannah, fondly called by people close to her as “Jay,” never failed to show pride for Louis’ accomplishments. She would find time to share Louis’ latest projects in her Twitter account and would also interact with his fans.

Throughout the years, Jay watched her son succeed and supported him in everything that he did particularly in his philanthropic efforts. She teamed up with him in hosting charity balls and fundraisers that mostly helped children with terminal illnesses. In the end, it was an aggressive form of cancer which took away her life.

The X Factor stage will be a witness to Louis’ tribute for his mother. The Doncaster-born singer, who will welcome his birthday on December 24, will appear in the show’s finale for his debut single, “Just Hold On,” which was penned for Jay. It was reportedly one of her wishes to see Louis perform on the X Factor stage again.

She left behind six other children, Lottie, 18, Felicite, 16, and two sets of twins, Phoebe and Daisy, 12, and Ernest and Doris, 2.
