Kylie Jenner’s Highly-Anticipated Pop-Up Shop Opens Amid Huge Crowds Of Fans

Kylie Jenner’s highly-anticipated pop-up shop at the Topanga Mall in Canoga Park, California, opened Friday morning.

According to Jenner’s SnapChat, lines started forming in the early morning hours as fans gathered for a chance to see the young entrepreneur at her latest venture. Things were crowded inside the mall as well as fans lined both floors of the shopping center in anticipation of the grand opening.

Kylie shared videos on SnapChat as hundreds of fans screamed her name and stood in line for hours just to shop her store. E! News reported on the event, saying Tyga was at a DJ booth inside the store as photos of the couple flashed on screens. Jordyn Woods, Kris Jenner, and Tyga’s son, King Cairo, also stopped by the store amid the chaos.

Inside the temporary shop, fans could expect products from Kylie’s cosmetic line, and items such as panties, phone cases, and clothing all bearing Jenner’s icons. There was also a wall dedicated to lip kits as Jenner shared videos of the store. Fans could get their hands on limited-edition shades such as Skylie and Freedom, which were released over the summer.

According to the Kylie Cosmetics website, the pop-up shop was designed by Jenner herself and features a replica of her bedroom.

“The store’s interior, designed and developed by Kylie herself, offers a 360° immersion into the beauty starlet’s most intimate world. Part of the store actually replicates the design, décor, and furniture located in Kylie’s own bedroom — a perfect way for fans to experience the glamour and luxury loved by the youngest member of the famed Kardashian/Jenner family.”

This explains why there’s a bed in the middle of the store, as Tyga SnapChatted a photo of Kylie lying down.

Kylie made separate appearances at the shop, one in the early morning and another later in the afternoon. For her first appearance, Kylie greeted fans while wearing comfortable attire and hardly any makeup, reported Daily Mail. She was seen taking selfies with fans as she photographed the long lines. For her second appearance, Kylie wore an orange dress and heels as she posed in her store along with Kris Jenner.

The store, which is scheduled to be open through December 24, will only remain in business while supplies last. Fans can also shop the new merchandise on the Kylie Jenner Shop’s website starting on Saturday. Kylie is giving subscribers to her app a 15 minute head start to shop the website before the 10 a.m. launch to the general public. In an announcement on her app, Jenner provides details about the new merchandise, including prices.

Fans can purchase Kylie thong panties for $18, lips phone cases for $15, and apparel ranging from $35 for shirts to $200 for a bomber jacket. There’s a limit of only five things per order, though, as Kylie wants to give everyone a chance to order products.

“I want to give as many of you as possible the chance to get what you want!”

It seems Jenner is expecting to see a high-demand tomorrow as the online shop goes live, but given her past performances, her expectation is well-grounded. Any time Kylie releases a new lip kit shade or cosmetics product, it tends to sell out within a matter of minutes. And given the popularity surrounding the Kylie Shop, her newest merchandise will most likely be no exception as fans buy gifts for the holidays.

In fact, it’s been reported fans came from as far away as New Jersey to attend Kylie’s pop-up opening in Los Angeles. The Hollywood Reporter referred to the grand opening as “mayhem,” which can also be used to describe just about all of Jenner’s online product launches as well.

Good luck to the fans trying to stop by Kylie’s pop-up shop this month, and to those of you who will try to place orders online tomorrow.
