Scheana Marie Defends Her Affair With Eddie Cibrian After Filing For Divorce

As Scheana Marie takes aim at Lala Kent’s rumored romance with a married man, which has allegedly resulted in the purchase of a new Range Rover, many have labeled her a hypocrite due to her own past affair with a married man.

Years ago, Scheana Marie was thrust into the spotlight after being named as one of Eddie Cibrian’s mistresses. As fans will recall, Cibrian engaged in an on-set affair with LeAnn Rimes while filming Lifetime’s Northern Lights and at the same time, he was also engaged in a romance with the Vanderpump Rules star — and married to Brandi Glanville, formerly of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Although Scheana Marie was admittedly involved with a married man, as she claimed Kent was during filming on Vanderpump Rules Season 5, their situations are entirely different — at last according to Scheana Marie.

“I know what I did. DOESNT make what she’s doing okay!” Scheana Marie wrote in a tweet to her fans and followers earlier this week.

While the majority of the cast has spoken out about Lala Kent’s allegedly married boyfriend, the mystery man’s identity has yet to be revealed and when it comes to the relationship, there has been no proof claiming Kent’s boyfriend is, in fact, married with children.

That said, Scheana Marie insists Kent’s boyfriend is married and claimed they are still dating in a recent tweet to fans. After someone pointed out that Scheana Marie had owned up to her affair with Cibrian, who was married with two young boys at the time of their relationship, the reality star said, “I did. And I apologized for it and never said what I did was okay. She’s not owning what she’s STILL doing.”

Scheana Marie continued her rant, slamming Kent for her reportedly inappropriate relationship and claiming there was a major difference between their alleged affairs: Scheana Marie didn’t know Cibrian was married and Kent is allegedly aware of her rumored boyfriend’s marital status.

“Did I say it was ok?” Scheana Marie asked her fans and followers. “I don’t think so. What she’s doing STILL is NOT OKAY!!!”

In other Scheana Marie news, the reality star and SUR Restaurant waitress recently filed for divorce after just two years of marriage to Mike Shay.

“While we have made the difficult decision to move forward separately, our story will continue on through the love and mutual respect that we have cultivated throughout our 15-year friendship,” Scheana Marie and Mike Shay told Us Weekly in a joint statement after her divorce filing. “Much of the recent speculation and reporting on our relationship has been misguided, and we have come to an amicable decision on all matters. We might have failed at our marriage, but we are committed to succeeding as friends and will continue to support each other’s personal happiness and professional success.”

News of Scheana Marie’s divorce filing came after weeks of rumors claiming Mike Shay may have fallen off the wagon after several months of sobriety. TMZ was first to report news of their potential split in early November and claimed Shay had gone missing for a few days and cleared out his bank account with Scheana Marie. A short time later, Shay denied he was missing on Instagram and insisted to his many fans and followers that he was still sober.

Weekly later, Scheana Marie confirmed news of her and Shay’s impending divorce on Twitter.
