Kardashian BFF Malika Haqq Is Dating Ronnie From ‘Jersey Shore’
There is a new celebrity couple in town and it is coming as a big surprise to many. Kardashian friend Malika Haqq is dating Ronnie Magro from the former MTV reality show Jersey Shore.
According to Radar Online, Malika Haqq, who starred on the Keeping Up With The Kardashian spin-off Dash Dolls, and the star of MTV’s reality series Jersey Shore, Ronnie Margo, announced that they are dating.
“We had a lot in common from the start and it was an instant friendship. The attraction quickly became a mutual romance.
“Our support for one another through this challenging experience made us strong in a very short period of time. We had an opportunity to really get to know each other living in such close quarter.”
The pair met while filming the second season of E! network’s relationship rehab series called Famously Single. E! News confirmed that the show is set to air in 2017.
“Our family and friends are aware that we are together and extremely supportive of our relationship.”
Shortly after confirming their relationship, Ronnie Magro shared a photo on Instagram of the couple kissing in front of a sunset.
He included some hashtags like #Happiness #FamouslySingleSeason2ComingSoon #EChannel #March #MakeSureYouKeepUp and of course the Jersey Shore star made sure to add #NahItAintSamSoStopAsking.
Ronnie Magro formerly dated his fellow Jersey Shore star Sam Giancola aka “Sammie Sweetheart.” The couple began dating in the first season of Jersey Shore back in 2009.
Ronnie and Sam were confirmed to have been together as recently as March 2016, according to E! News. The pair had broken up a year and a half prior in 2014, but were seen back in each other’s arms once again this past spring.
Now it seems that the Jersey Shore star has finally moved on to Malika Haqq.
Fans of Keeping Up With The Kardashians are probably familiar with Malika and her twin sister Khadijah, who have both been featured on the family’s reality series.
According to The Sun, Malika, who seems to be closest friends with Khloe Kardashian, the reality star is also a model and actress.
Haqq played the lead role in Omarion’s music video “Speedin,'” in addition to several films like School For Scoundrels, ATL, and Somebody Help Me 2.
Malika also guest starred on television shows like Strong Medicine in 2004, The Bernie Mac Show in 2005, and Las Vegas in 2007. Most recently she has been seen in reality series like the KUWTK spin-off Dash Dolls and Hollywood Divas.
Obviously, you can catch Malika and Ronnie on the next season of Famously Single.
Before actually becoming a best friend of the Kardashians, Malika did actually work for Khloe Kardashian as her personal assistant at one point a few years ago.
Malika and Khloe have actually known each other since the two were just 15-years-old. Malika was dating one of Kardashian’s male friends and the rest was history, Khloe explained on her blog.
“Malika was dating one of my male best friends. He would always keep us apart because I am sure he knew we would just hit it off. One day we met and we did. Malika and Khadijah have been my best friends ever since.”
Malika and Ronnie will be joined on Famously Single by some other well-known reality stars like Bachelorette and Bachelor In Paradise star Chad Johnson, Dancing With The Stars contestant Karina Smirnoff, Flavor Of Love star Tiffany Pollard, and #RichKids of Beverly Hills’ Dorothy Wang.
During Season 1 of Famously Single, Ronnie’s former castmate on Jersey Shore, DJ Pauly D, ended up in a relationship with singer Aubrey O’Day.
It looks like Ronnie has had similar luck with love on the show.
We’ll have to wait until Famously Single airs this winter on E! to see how the reality stars’ romance got started.
