Jessa Duggar Quashes Twin Baby Rumors: ‘Jill And Jessa Counting On’ Star Releases News On Instagram, Not Family Blog, After Jinger Vuolo’s Wedding

Jessa Duggar and her sister, Jill Dillard, have been keeping their fans guessing on whether Jessa’s next baby will be twins, but it looks like the mother herself has made it clear. On her latest Instagram post, the Jill and Jessa Counting On star has revealed that she will be having just one baby.

The 24-year-old mother posted a picture of an ultrasound of her second baby at 20 weeks. Considering that she is now 34 weeks pregnant, that is a considerable delay in keeping her fans posted, but in general, it looks like Jessa has been wanting to keep her second pregnancy more under wraps.

It’s impossible to tell what the gender of the baby will be from this photograph, but it looks pretty clear that Jessa will be pushing out just one baby in three weeks’ time.

In the latest video for TLC’s show, Jill and Jessa alluded to the fact that she may be having more than one baby this January.

“We don’t know if it’s twins or just one,” Jessa said in the video.

“It could be just one baby with good variability in the heart beat or it could be two different babies,” Jill added.

But it looks like the 24-year-old mother has made it clear that there will be just one baby this time around.

It is also worth noting that the reality TV show star decided to share her baby news solely on her Instagram. The latest Seewald family blog post is from November 16, when they uploaded a short and sweet video congratulating Joy-Anna Duggar on starting a courtship with Austin Forsythe.

The time that Jessa has from not working on her family blog and giving her fans a regular update on her baby, she has channeled into decking out her house accordingly for Christmas. She made sure that every corner of the house is ready for the holiday season with trees, holiday cookbooks, and a set of stockings hanging by the fireplace.

In fact, Jessa included a fourth one this year, showing that she is in a nesting mood as she waits for the arrival of her second baby.

Pregnant Jessa, her husband Ben, and their son, Spurgeon, had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with the Duggars, making sure that they instill a strong sense of family in their little boy.

“Thanksgiving is such a wonderful holiday,” the Duggars wrote on Facebook. “It’s a beautiful day spent with family, food we love and most of all it is a poignant reminder of the many blessings our lives enjoy, for which we should be thankful. This year for Thanksgiving, we spent a few days together with our family in a cabin in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. We’ve laughed together, cooked together, sang together, told fun family stories, played with kids and bounced babies. It’s been a wonderful family time.”

The latter part of her pregnancy has been a busy one, being the maid-of-honor for her little sister, Jinger Duggar’s, wedding, celebrating Spurgeon’s and her own birthday, and getting the family ready for the arrival of Seewald baby number two. But from the tone on her Instagram account, it looks like the Counting On star hasn’t been too stressed out with all the things that were required of her.

It certainly helps to have a husband who is willing to help out in babysitting her eldest son.
