Sorry, Kylie Jenner, Taylor Swift’s Lips Are The Most Desirable
Taylor Swift has the most perfect pout according to British women. The ship of her mouth is emulated most by British women, reports The Sun.
The 26-year-old songwriter has the ideal mouth while Angelina Jolie’s perfect pout comes in at a close second, followed by Rihanna, Scarlett Johansson, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Megan Fox, according to a top British plastic surgeon. Shockingly enough, Kylie Jenner didn’t even make the cut.
It’s no secret that most women emulate their lips after their favorite celebrities. There has been a 12 percent increase in fillers and lip augmentation, also known as cheiloplasty. Harley Street facial cosmetic surgeon Dr. Julian De Silva from the Centre for Advanced Facial Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery revealed that most of his patients want Swift’s pout.

Swift won’t have perfect lips forever, says the plastic surgeon. The pop star is still young and is still in the best years of her life. As women age, their lips start to thin. But it also helps when women like Swift have large teeth that help make their lips appear plumper and perkier than usual.
“But at 26, she may only have a couple of years left when her lips are naturally plump. Our lips are at the most voluptuous in our teens. Young lips are full because the skin in those years contains plenty of collagen and naturally occurring hyaluronic acid, which keeps your lips moist and plump. Young people also have larger teeth, which help to support the lips and keep them perky. Lips start to reduce in size from the age of 28 onwards. That is when the collagen and hyaluronic acid production start to slow down. That is when women in particular start looking at ways to augment their lips.”
Dr. De Silva also warned that lifestyle factors such as sunbathing, drinking alcohol, and smoking can speed up these signs of aging.
“Lifestyle factors can also reduce your natural pout and accelerate natural thinning. Don’t smoke, stay out of the sun and don’t overdo the booze if you want your lips to be naturally full for longer. Some women want to change their lips because they are uneven – and they may have a natural ‘trout pout’ like actress Liv Taylor who has a heavy upper lip.”
The plastic surgeon also identified the nine most common shapes of lips that women want. It turns out that not all women want thick luscious lips like Kylie Jenner. Most want to have defined lips like Swift and Rihanna while some want thin lips like Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton.

The “Bad Blood” singer was last seen rocking her signature red lipstick when she watched best friend and YouTuber Todrick Hall perform in Kinky Boots on Broadway in New York City last month. The singer was photographed wearing a long-sleeved black dress, which she paired with black sheer tights, a pair of black and brown oxford shoes, and her signature red lipstick, reports InStyle.
