Amanda And Josh Still Engaged, Reality Steve’s ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Breakup Story ‘Not True’

When Josh Murray proposed to Amanda Stanton on the Bachelor in Paradise finale that aired in September, some fans wondered how long the couple’s engagement would last. Six months after Josh moved to California to live with Amanda and her beautiful daughters, Kinsley and Charlie, blogger Reality Steve dropped a bombshell and stated that the couple had split and Josh was living in a hotel.

Did Reality Steve get it wrong? Although rumors have been flying that the couple has called it quits since Steve confirmed the breakup on Monday, Josh’s mother, Lauren Goodheart Murray, shot down the story when asked by friends and followers on her Facebook page, stating simply that the news that Amanda and Josh broke up is “not true.”

Josh also took to Twitter to let fans know that they are still “happy, happy, happy” and posted a photo of the couple that was taken over the weekend at Becca Tilley’s YouTube blog launch party in Los Angeles. And just a few days before the party, Josh and Amanda were together at the KIIS-FM Jingle Ball and, when asked about their relationship, Josh told ET Online “We’re enjoying life, enjoying the kids, and having a good time. We love each other.”

Although Amanda hasn’t posted about the breakup news on Instagram or Twitter, her Snapchat story seems to indicate that Josh is still around. On Monday, she was with Josh at Taco Bell and laughed about dropping her food all over her dress.

Hours later, she talked about Josh’s dog, Sabel, with her daughters and then Josh snapped a photo of himself in the car with Charlie and Kinsley’s car seats still in the car.

And they’ve already taken cute family holiday photos together, so could it be that Reality Steve was wrong about their breakup and the couple is headed to the altar?

Unlike Josh, Amanda has yet to respond to the news of their split, so the breakup rumors is still making headlines and creating a buzz on social media. Josh’s “happy, happy, happy” tweet was obviously done in response to Reality Steve‘s confirmation that the couple ended their engagement, but was he also speaking for Amanda?

According to Us Weekly, a source close to Amanda says that the couple is “still together” but they “definitely have their issues,” while another source told the magazine that they broke up but “their relationship is always up in the air.”

So, is Reality Steve on to something here or did he post about their breakup too hastily? [Take out poll below]

Is it possible that the couple had a spat and needed to cool off and are back on again? Only Josh and Amanda know the answer to that, but without a confirmation from the couple, fans will have to wait and see.

For now, Reality Steve stands by his sources and blasted what he calls “Jamanda fans” on Twitter for not believing him.

“Here’s the last I will say on Josh & Amanda. I stand by my sources. I don’t care what 4 day old pictures Josh posts, what family says or what rabid, crazy Jamanda fans think,” Steve tweeted on Wednesday. “Remember, this is a guy who appeared on natl TV for Chris Soules premiere arm & arm w Andi doing a red carpet interview, & 2 days later they announced their break up. So what he says is irrelevant 2 me. Standing by my sources.”

During an episode of Bachelor in Paradise, Amanda was warned about Josh in light of accusations from his ex, Andi Dorfman’s accusations that he emotionally abused her while they were engaged. At the time, Amanda told Us Weekly that “there are two sides to every story,” so that may apply to the current rumor about the couple’s breakup as well.
