Kardashians Declare War: Sisters Accuse Blac Chyna Of ‘Damaging’ The Kardashian Name
The Kardashian sisters may have played nice when their brother Rob brought his fiancée and mother of his child Blac Chyna around the family, but there is no way the reality stars are going to let the former stripper take their name. Why did the Kardashians say that Blac Chyna was “damaging” the Kardashian name?
There is no way the Kardashian sisters are going to let Rob Kardashian’s bride-to-be trademark their famous, money-making Kardashian name.
According to Radar Online, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe are publicly fighting their brother’s baby mama. The Kardashians are refusing to let Blac Chyna make any profit off of the name Angela Renee Kardashian, once she and Rob Kardashian are married.
The Kardashian sisters have taken legal action to prevent the former stripper and music video girl from making any cash from the Kardashian name.
The sisters, who at one point seemed to be accepting of Chyna and Rob’s relationship, have apparently changed their minds.
Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney, along with their many brands, have filed an opposition to the new mom’s official request to trademark and profit off the name, “Angela Renee Kardashian.”
According to United States Patent and Trademark office papers, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians sisters claim that Blac Chyna’s use of the Kardashian name would “confuse” fans.
Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney claim that Chyna’s use of the name Kardashian would not be good for their affiliates or endorsers, according to the Kardashian’s lawyers. Kardashian devotees would be “likely to mistakenly believe Applicant is affiliated with or endorsed by Opposers…which it is not.”
To make matters worse, the former stripper’s new name would destroy the reality star’s “hard-earned” credibility.
Radar previously reported that Angela Renee White filed paperwork back in May for the rights to make money off of her married name.
“Chyna is insisting that everyone call her Angela.”
Blac Chyna first got her taste of stardom back in 2011, when she performed in Tyga’s “Rack City” music video. Tyga and Blac Chyna began dating shortly after. The former couple even appeared together on the cover of Urban Ink magazine.
The two welcomed a son together, King Cairo Stevenson, in October 2012. Chyna and Tyga got engaged after the baby was born but broke it off by August 2014.
At the time she was dating Tyga, Chyna also had a pretty close friendship going with Kim Kardashian. In fact, Tyga and Blac Chyna even attended Kim Kardashian’s 2014 wedding to Kanye West in Paris, according to People.
That all changed once she and Tyga broke up, and the rapper started dating Kim’s younger sister, Kylie Jenner. Jenner was hardly 18 when the two began their romance.
Chyna and Kylie both attacked one another via social media, only seeming to make up once Chyna began dating Rob Kardashian.
Many saw Blac Chyna’s relationship with Rob Kardashian as a way for the former stripper to get back into the Kardashian inner circle. Over the course of less than a year, Chyna and Rob have gotten engaged, and she has given birth to their daughter, Dream Renee Kardashian.
Chyna has already gotten herself a reality series called Rob & Chyna on E!
Blac Chyna seems to have her future as a Kardashian all planned out. Unfortunately for her, the Kardashians are doing everything in their power to prevent that from happening.
If she cannot make a profit off of her married Kardashian name once she and Rob tie the knot, what name will Blac Chyna go by?
Blac Chyna, aka Angela Renee White, used Chyna as a stage name when she was a stripper and music video girl. It seems like the reality star is attempting to make a break from her risqué past, but she might not be able to go by the famous Kardashian name after all.
