Kyle Richards Gives Relationship Updates On Yolanda Foster, Kim Richards, Kathryn Edwards, Brandi Glanville, And Faye Resnick

After the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7 premiere episode aired, Kyle Richards appeared on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live talk show alongside Ladies of London star Caroline Stanbury. During a quick-fire question round, Andy asked Kyle to give updates on her relationships with several women from the show, including her sister Kim Richards, Yolanda Foster, Kathryn Edwards, and Faye Resnick.

Asked how she and Kim are doing, Kyle said that they’re doing great. Kyle added that Kim’s doing “fantastic” and noted that both she and their other sister, Kathy Hilton, became grandmothers this year.

“Kim is great. You saw us at the premiere [party] the other night. She’s fantastic…Kathy and Kim both became grandmothers this year, it’s wild.”

However, when Andy asked Kyle whether she knows where Kim’s dog Kinsley is at this point, Kyle’s mood seemed to darken a bit.

“I have no idea where and yeah, no, have not heard about him.”

Practically since the very first season, Kyle’s fractured and tense relationship with Kim has been a central storyline. Through the seasons, they have veered from being very close to not speaking with one another at all for months. There has been a lot of screams and tears between the two. Things between them got particularly vicious on the Season 5 reunion show, during which Kyle accused Kim of not caring that her daughter, Alexia, received a bite from Kinsley so serious that she had to go to the emergency room and get a lot of stitches. Kyle yelled that Alexia almost lost her hand, to which Kim retorted that she “had a bite on her f*****g finger.”

Yet, on Season 6, which showed Kim in a few episodes, Kyle and Kim had a tearful, heart-to-heart talk, during which they vowed to put the past behind them and stick by one another no matter what.

A preview for Season 7 shows that viewers will see Kim Richards at least once during the season. Kim’s scene shows her confronting Lisa Rinna for what happened during the previous two seasons. On Season 5, Kim and Lisa got into a very heated argument over dinner in Amsterdam after Kim lashed out at Lisa for speculating that she has sobriety issues. When Kim threatened to reveal something about Lisa’s husband, actor Harry Hamlin, Lisa got up and threw a wine glass toward Kim. On Season 6, Lisa and Kim avoided any direct arguments but remained tense with one another. The Season 7 preview shows Kim and Lisa still hashing out their past drama with one another.

Asked when’s the last time she spoke to Kathryn Edwards, Kyle said about a month ago when she called her about something.

“About a month ago when I asked about, yeah I called her about a month ago yeah.”

Andy then asked about Faye Resnick, a friend of Kyle Richards’ who has shown up on the show here and there throughout the seasons. Kyle confirmed that viewers won’t be seeing Faye this season, which Faye is really happy about.

“She’s fantastic and very happy that she wasn’t on the show this season. [Laughs] Yeah she’s like, ‘Honey I love you so much but no.'”

During Season 6, which featured Kathryn as a starring cast member, Kathryn was immediately asked about her past in regards to O.J. Simpson and Nicole Brown Simpson upon her introduction to viewers. Kathryn made it clear that she did not like that Faye wrote a memoir that stated that O.J. was enraged at Nicole because she was having an affair with Kathryn’s then-husband Marcus Allen. In her book, Faye characterized Kathryn as a woman who looked the other way in regards to her husband’s infidelities. Kathryn, pointing out that Faye had never even met her, blamed Faye for dragging her name into the O.J. Simpson saga, all just to get fame for herself.

During a dinner scene, Kathryn confronted Faye for what she wrote in her book so many years ago. Surprisingly, the much-anticipated showdown was a letdown. Faye quickly shut down the conversation and offered a bit of an apology.

“There’s not really much to discuss at this point, is there?. Do you feel better? You know something, I really don’t want to have a bunch of conversations about this. That’s a really uncomfortable time in all of our lives and I think that’s something that should be discussed in private. If I’ve done anything to offend anyone, I’m sorry, I really am. You look beautiful, by the way.”

Kathryn simply backed down and let it go.

As the Inquisitr reported, Faye Resnick later denied that she wanted screen time for herself on The Real Housewives of Bevelry Hills and actually expressed disgust at the show’s producers for pushing the story line.

After Season 6 finished airing, Kathryn Edwards revealed via a People magazine interview that she would not be returning to the show. Kathryn implied that it was her decision to leave.

“I feel great. I walk away from it all with great feelings. I have no regrets at all. It was definitely an adventure for me. I really am kind of a private person. It really just comes down to the time and what I value the most. I value those times with my husband and our friends. And I really didn’t want to miss another year. It’s nice to be able to live life.”

Besides Kathryn, Yolanda Foster also left the show after the sixth season. When Andy asked Kyle when’s the last time she saw Yolanda, Kyle admitted that it has been a while.

“It’s been quite a while yeah.”

On the day Season 6 premiered, Yolanda publicly released a statement stating that she and David Foster were getting divorced, much to everyone’s shock. Yolanda’s Lyme disease diagnoses and some of the other women’s speculation that she may actually just have Munchausen syndrome was a major Season 6 storyline. Viewers saw Yolanda talk briefly about the demise of her marriage to David at the end of the season. On the reunion show, Yolanda admitted that her Lyme disease took a toll on her marriage.

After the reunion show aired, Yolanda, via an Instagram post, said that she was now going to focus on her recovery and her family. She also implied that it was her decision to leave the show.

Unlike with Kim Richards, Kathryn Edwards, Faye Resnick, and Yolanda Foster, Kyle Richards had a much more negative reaction when Andy Cohen asked her about Brandi Glanville. Kyle made it clear that Brandi is one former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member she does not care to keep in contact with. Asked when’s the last time she spoke to Brandi, Kyle outright dismissed Brandi.

“I can’t remember and don’t care.”
