One Direction’s Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, And Louis Tomlinson Are Still Enjoying Fame On Their Hiatus

While One Direction’s Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, and Louis Tomlinson have not been together for nearly a year, they are doing great. Harry, Niall, Liam, and Louis are not only getting some much-needed rest and making solo albums, but they are still adored and still making money.

One Direction earned the second highest wages for Forbes Top 5 On Celebrity 100. Surpassed only by Taylor Swift, who made $170 million as a solo act, One Direction made $110 million dollars together from June of 2015 through June of 2016. That’s pretty good for being on hiatus.

One Direction’s Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, and Louis Tomlinson were hardly forgotten on social media either. One Direction was responsible for the top three re-tweets on Twitter, according to J-14.

One Direction’s Harry Styles took the top spot for the most re-tweeted celebrity tweet when he tweeted the lyrics of “22” to Taylor Swift on her twenty-second birthday which was February 1. That sweet tweet got over 700,000 re-tweets.

While One Direction’s Harry Styles and Niall Horan have been busy in the recording studio making music, Liam Payne seems to be expecting a baby with Cheryl and made an album besides. Louis Tomlinson has been busy taking care of baby Freddie and is also planning to make an album in 2017.

One Direction’s daddy of the year, Louis Tomlinson, who has seemingly spent his whole hiatus pretty quietly so far, made the second and third most re-tweeted tweets. When Louis tweeted the announcement of Freddie’s Birth on January 23, fans went wild and scored the rank of 3 for celebrity re-tweets. On January 28, though, when he shared a picture, fans could not get enough of Freddie Tomlinson’s face, and that was the second most popular celebrity tweet for 2016.

Louis Tomlinson’s son Freddie Tomlinson had a lot of pics posted since then.

One Direction’s Liam Payne also took the number three tweet for most tweeted GIFs, with his ice cream cone GIF.

One Direction’s Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson are all planning to put out their solo albums in 2017. Zayn Malik will probably release an album in 2017 as well. Zayn was seen in a London recording studio during Fashion Week working on something.

The One Direction hiatus has been great for Harry Styles, who has hardly taken a break. He’s made one, or perhaps two movies, and recorded an album. Styles has proven himself to be a true workaholic. Dunkirk is coming out in 2017, and there is rumored to be a biopic in the making as well, in which Harry Styles will portray Mick Jagger. Styles also did a photo shoot for Another Man dressed as Jagger.

While One Direction’s Harry Style has been hard at work, Liam Payne and Niall Horan took some time off for themselves, and Louis Tomlinson is spending quality time with his son. All were worn out from five long years on the road, and all have earned a break, even though Harry Styles seems amazingly energetic and fresh despite working all the time. Styles seems to thrive on an impossible schedule.

One Direction’s Niall Horan played a lot of golf, saw a simply awesome prize fight, and also recorded an album this year. Niall started his hiatus with a backpacking tour of South Asia, and while Horan appeared to be having fun the whole time, Niall somehow found the time to produce an album and release a single.

While One Direction’s Harry Styles seems to have met nearly every major classic rock star still living in order to research his album and worked ever so hard in the studio, everything seems to have come so naturally for Niall Horan, who wrote his “This Town” single in one hour, according to Jamie Scott, who helped with the writing. Jamie is quoted on Unreality TV.

“As they became more and more famous, the kind of advice I was able to offer to them went out the window, because being that famous and having that kind of life isn’t something I’m so familiar with. I mean, just try to fathom what their life is like. Just getting your head around a machine that big is bonkers.”

One Direction’s Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne are enjoying the fruits of their labor during this hiatus.
