Katherine Heigl Pregnancy Update: See The Latest Baby Bump Photos

As Katherine Heigl nears her January due date, the actress has been spotted showing off her growing baby bump.

The 38-year-old was photographed wearing all black as she filmed for television series Doubt. Daily Mail shared several of the photos of Heigl hiding her pregnancy under a black sweater as she worked on set in Los Angeles. She looked comfortable as she sported a pair of UGG boots and smiled at the camera.

Daily Mail reports Katherine is over seven months pregnant with a baby boy as she continues to work. An Instagram fan account dedicated to covering Heigl also posted a snap of the blonde and her baby bump from Thanksgiving. She’s seen wearing a skin-tight black dress and leather jacket as she walks with sunglasses in hand. She and her family of four dined out in Malibu in celebration of the holiday and Katherine’s birthday.

It’s one of the few glimpses fans have got of Katherine’s growing baby bump as she hasn’t shared many photos during her pregnancy and mostly covers up her growing bump when she is spotted around town. Most of her Instagram posts consist of face-only shots, but she did share a bump pic a few months back. In it, Katherine lovingly looks down at her pregnant belly as she directs fans to her website.

Heigl has taken to sharing pregnancy updates on her site, Heavenly Days. She posted her “pregnancy favorites” at 19 week, and has gone on to share family insides from Halloween and Thanksgiving. Katherine isn’t shy when it comes to talking about her family in general, either. While she’s mother to two adopted daughters, this marks her first pregnancy. Heigl shares daughters Naleigh and Adalaide with husband Josh Kelley, and routinely posts pictures of their little girls on social media. Fans can expect to see plenty of her baby boy once he arrives if she continues her practice of sharing personal moments online.

While Katherine has been busy preparing for the February 15 premiere date of Doubt, she took some time to enjoy her birthday last month. She shared a selfie on Instagram with her husband as she thanked him for a relaxing birthday weekend. Judging by her tags, the couple “chilled” out in Santa Barbara while family members babysat their daughters.

Heigl initially announced her pregnancy with a sonogram post on Instagram and an entry called “Oh Baby!” on her blog site. She wasted no time in telling fans she was expecting a boy, and the pregnancy was a complete surprise.

“We are expecting a third addition to our tribe! It was totally unexpected but thrilling nonetheless.”

She went on to say she and Josh knew they wanted to grow their family, but weren’t sure if pregnancy was “in the cards” for them. Heigl added this is an amazingly blessed time for her and her family, and she would be eagerly anticipating her son’s arrival. She shared a couple photos from the ultrasound appointment that showed her smiling and crying tears of joy as she saw her baby.

Despite keeping her bump well-covered, the paparazzi are eager to get shots of the pregnant Heigl as fans await news on the star. Daily Mail has several posts dedicated to photos of her, some which clearly let fans see her pregnancy progress and others that seem like the actress is hiding her baby bump. It’s no surprise that fans and paparazzi alike are eager to get a glimpse of Katherine as she quickly rose to fame on shows such as Grey’s Anatomy and movies such as Knocked Up.
