Tomi Lahren Fires Back At Liberal Double Standards: ‘Consider Your Bubble Burst’

Tomi Lahren is one of the most outspoken voices on the current political landscape with as many critics as she has fans, though many of those seeking to bash Lahren are doing so out of a prejudice against her age, gender, or appearance. That’s okay with Tomi though. As her own Facebook page states, whether you love her or hate her, you’re still tuning in to hear what she has to say and that’s what concerns Ms. Lahren most of all. Tomi recently threw herself to the lions in a rare appearance on The Daily Show, going head to head with host Trevor Noah, and, instead of letting the hateful catcalling intimidate her, Tomi rose to the challenge and stood her ground.

While the presidential debates prior to this year’s election may have left many feeling as though substance gave way to flair, Entertainment Weekly reports that Tomi Lahren’s debate with Trevor Noah on The Daily Show this week may have been far more satisfying. With neither side giving way, it seemed Lahren and Noah could have debated until the end of time without either ever gaining headway. Still, something was achieved. Tomi proved she wouldn’t be belittled or intimidated, even by a hostile audience.

Since her appearance on The Daily Show, Tomi has made one of her now famous “Final Thoughts” videos, this time opening up on what it was like to face a confrontational host and an angry audience. As Lahren points out in the beginning of the video, this wasn’t her first time standing up to the double standard she perceives from the liberal left.

“I walked onto The Daily Show knowing there wouldn’t be a single conservative or supporter in the crowd, but I had the balls to walk into that situation and didn’t flinch,” said Ms. Lahren.

Tomi makes a valid point, when she says, despite Noah’s likable personality, he jumped the gun with predetermined assumptions, even before The Blaze correspondent stepped out on stage.

Tomi Lahren Calls Out The Daily Show, Trevor Noah, And Mainstream Media

No one was spared Tomi Lahren’s criticism from The Daily Show host to the most powerful representatives of mainstream media, reports Mediaite, as they share more of Ms. Lahren’s commentary. As her “Final Thoughts” video progresses, Tomi points out that, had Trevor Noah appeared on a conservative-oriented talk show and received abuse similar to that which Lahren experienced, there would have been widespread criticism and backlash across the online community, as well as in the news.

“If Trevor Noah appeared in front of a conservative audience and was booed and jeered, what do you think the mainstream would label those folks? Racists? Bigots? Deplorables? Take your pick,” Ms. Lahren says.

“But The Daily Show crowd booed and heckled me for 20 minutes — once for citing a fact, by the way, and the mainstream not only agrees with it, they applaud it and label those folks social justice warriors. Amazing, really.”

Tomi also objected to criticism that she’s too young to be as angry as she is and, at one point, The Daily Show host asks why she’s so hostile.

While Lahren didn’t address her own personal emotions, she did call attention to the double standard she sees in the liberal party.

Tomi adds to her feelings that the liberals in our society establish a double standard in virtually any argument they make by presuming the moral high ground when it’s convenient. For either side to presume superiority over the other is counterproductive and creating a greater schism among all. Certainly, that’s something each party does and, as Lahren herself points out, there are ignorant, abusive liberals, just as there are good, decent conservatives and vice versa.

“When the left makes a point, it’s ‘passion.’ When someone on the right does the same, it’s ‘anger.'”

To those liberals who confront Tomi Lahren with their own brand of anger and hateful slurs, The Blaze‘s most outspoken political commentator has a message.

“Consider your bubble burst. I am your worst nightmare,” warns Ms. Lahren.

“I don’t care what you label me or how many times you come after me. I am fearless and I’m just getting started.”
