Mariah Carey The Undisputed Queen Of Christmas, New Man Part Of Reason Packer Dumped Carey?

It seems that Mariah Carey has not taken very long to move on from her former fiance, billionaire James Packer. The two broke off their engagement after rumors of Packer having dumped the diva. At the time, it was being reported that Carey was heartbroken and blindsided by the breakup, yet mere weeks later, the star’s situation appears to be on the upswing as she has been spotted getting cozy with her choreographer and backup dancer, Bryan Tanaka.

Carey seems to be enjoying her time with the 33-year-old and definitely had fans intrigued when she was snapped cozying up to the dancer on a beach getaway. Although the duo’s relationship status is not quite clear, Carey certainly has a respect for the choreographer, and Tanaka spoke about his and Mariah’s first professional encounters in his early years while he was on tour with the diva. E! relays his words about Mimi.

“Something connected with us back in the day and there was just a mutual admiration. She saw something in me that I actually didn’t recognize at first, from that it was over. It was set in history that we were gonna be connected some way, some how.”

People reminds that Tanaka took to Instagram back in 2014 where he went on to share his gratitude to the singer.

“In 2014 Instagram post, Tanaka expressed his gratitude toward the singer, saying, ‘She has always supported me and been so kind.'”

Rumors are now swirling that Tanaka and Carey were becoming close prior to the star’s engagement to Packer being called off. The publication notes that one incident which caused Packer to be less than pleased involved Mariah, Bryan, and an onstage lap dance. After the performance, Packer apparently kept an eye on the two, and when Tanaka arrived at the superstar’s Las Vegas show, despite being injured and unable to perform alongside her, Packer stepped in to show him the way out.

“According to reports, the Australian billionaire even confronted Tanaka after he showed up to Carey’s Las Vegas show despite not being able to perform due to an injury. Packer allegedly banned the dancer from the Caesars Palace show during the incident.”

It’s been made known that Mariah always spends quality time with her backup dancers when off duty. While in Paris, Tanaka and another dancer joined Mariah, and the trio watched the Eiffel Tower light up at night, as evidenced by Tanaka’s Instagram account. The choreographer also spent time with the superstar in a DJ booth and on her private jet, while also joining a group as they took off on a safari during the African portion of the Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour. Tanaka also showed up at Carey’s Halloween party while on break from shows.

Though Carey did remain tight-lipped recently when she stopped by the Today Show, the singer cheekily joked about the subject and did not deny a romantic connection with Tanaka. In the same interview, Carey stated that she is pushing forward when it comes to her view on the split between her and Packer.

It’s certainly Carey’s season to be in the spotlight, and the world knew the diva would never let a broken engagement bring her down during the holidays, seeing as she shines brighter than any at this time of year. Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” is without question one of the most requested and popular anthems of the season and Mariah is known to make appearances at Christmas tree lightings, In addition, she has even starred in and directed her own Christmas movies for the Hallmark Channel. Time reminds this is obviously her season and she is the Queen of Christmas, although it also seems that Carey simply enjoys any excuse to celebrate and be festive. The diva has not let a finalized divorce or a called-off engagement get her down.
