‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7, Episode 8 Spoilers: War! [Video]

The Walking Dead Season 7 is about to come up on its mid-season finale with Episode 8, “Hearts Still Burning,” and fans that didn’t like the cliffhanger from last year might not enjoy what’s coming next. With everything that has happened in Season 7 so far, The Walking Dead is poised to make fans cringe at what will take place between all the groups on the show.

The first thing that fans of The Walking Dead need to consider is the way the last episode played out. There have been several episodes since that dreadful Season 7 premiere that have seemed to only be time-wasters, but they all took place for a reason to show fans of The Walking Dead that the world is much bigger than they previously knew. That includes the Hilltop, the Kingdom, the Bay, and the new weapons arsenal that Rick and Aaron have found that cold save them from the grip of Negan and the Saviors.

This is the part of the article where we need to warn you that there are major spoilers for Episodes 7 and 8 of The Walking Dead Season 7 coming up. If you have not seen the previous episode, or if you don’t want any details of the mid-season finale spoiled for you, then you should only proceed with that caution in mind.

For those who are still playing catch up with Season 7 of The Walking Dead, then let’s just get you up to speed on where we last left off with the show. Many already know that Carl snuck into the back of the Saviors truck when they were at the Hilltop, but so did Jesus and the two were covertly making their way to the Saviors compound.

Jesus bails out of the truck, but Carl did not follow and when he got to the compound on The Walking Dead, he took out two of Negan’s men but failed to kill Negan with the machine gun.

Carl became a fresh new prisoner of Negan’s at the compound and Negan showed him just how ruthless he is willing to be. That included branding a man’s face with a hot iron after a flimsy affair that involved one of his wives. But it just wouldn’t be The Walking Dead if there were not more to that story.

Negan takes Carl back to Alexandria and as far as the people know, it is just a surprise visit. Rick is off with Aaron on a scavenging run when they get there so Negan has to pass the time until they get back making Carl as uncomfortable as possible, which included finding Judith and playing the warm father figure to the little girl while Rick was gone.

The Walking Dead fans also got to see that Rick and Aaron made a magnificent discovery, but it is guarded by walkers in a lake. So that means if they want some loot to take back to Negan, then they will have to get creative with how they get it.

There is also the storyline on The Walking Dead Episode 7 with Michonne, who has kidnapped a woman that is part of the Saviors and she is making her way into their compound.

When Episode 8 of The Walking Dead picks up with the mid-season finale, according to TV Guide, there is going to be a massive fallout situation that is going to potentially give The Walking Dead a cliffhanger until Season 7b picks up in February, although that has not been confirmed yet.

Tensions in Alexandria on The Walking Dead are about to spiral out of control and Rick might not be back in time to save his people or his kids.

The Walking Dead Season 7 will air Episode 8, “Hearts Still Burning,” this Sunday on AMC. This will be the last episode of The Walking Dead in 2016.
