‘Duck Dynasty’ Wedding: Willie Robertson’s Daughter Ties The Knot In Mexico – See Her Dress

A Duck Dynasty wedding is making headlines this morning!

According to Us Weekly, Duck Dynasty star Willie Robertson’s daughter, Rebecca, tied the knot in Mexico on December 3. The 28-year-old was walked down the aisle by her dad, meeting her groom, John Reed Loflin, who was all smiles. Photos of Rebecca surfaced on social media shortly after she and John said their “I do’s.”

Rebecca Robertson wore a “flowing, white bohemian-inspired gown with a sheer cape draped around her shoulders, a bouquet of blush-and-white roses and wildflowers in hand,” according to the report. She wore her dark hair in a long side braid.

The Duck Dynasty wedding saw Willie Robertson looking quite dapper as well. However, he didn’t forgo his signature look; his bandana was securely in place for the event!

Rebecca Robertson and John Loflin got engaged on New Year’s Eve 2015 in Florida. Loflin popped the question while the two were “treasure hunting” for shells along the beach at sunset — how romantic! The proposal was beyond sweet, and Rebecca was definitely surprised!

She previously talked to Us Weekly about that very special day.

“I was determined to find the best shell that day. We had been walking, searching for about an hour, and I saw this beautiful swirly shell hidden in the sand, and the ring was also hiding in there, and he got on his one knee as I pulled the ring out, and he said, ‘I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you spend the rest of your life with me?'”

This Duck Dynasty wedding even had its own unique hashtag, which many couples choose before their big day as a way for them and other guests to find pictures and posts on social media. Rebecca and John chose #Loflinweddedwife, a play on the phrase, “lawfully wedded wife,” from many-a-traditional-marriage-vow.

According to People Magazine, it wasn’t all sunshine and sandy beaches for Rebecca and John before their big day. The couple actually encountered a flight delay on their way to Mexico — but they remained calm and were both all smiles regardless!

“We are off to GET MARRIED!! Even though our flight got delayed because of weather plus some crazy guy jumping off of the plane causing us to miss our connection, waiting in line to get rebooked for 3 hours, now we are spending a night in Atlanta & flying out tomorrow. I am still smiling big, because this is just another fun adventure with my soon to be hubby @johnreedloflin i can’t wait to do life with you!”

Duck Dynasty wedding was a very special time for the Robertsons. As many people know, Rebecca Robertson was a foster child from Taiwan who began living with Willie and his wife, Korie, in 2004. The couple has three biological children and an adopted son, Will, as well as their foster daughter, Rebecca. Back in January, Willie and Korie announced that they were in the process of adopting another son.

“We’ve had lots of questions about the cute kid popping up in our photos lately???? We are excited to be in the process of adopting a new son! He’s been with us since May, but we wanted some privacy and time for him and our family to bond before telling the world (It’s a bit of an adjustment coming into this big, crazy family, ha????) He’s amazing, and we are all so thrilled to have another kid around the house. Couldn’t keep the good news to ourselves any longer! We appreciate your prayers and support for our family! Love, The Robertson’s,” they posted on Instagram at the time.

The Duck Dynasty wedding was a lovely time for the Robertson family, all of whom seemed to have a lot of fun celebrating Rebecca and John’s love.
