‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7: Jon Snow, Sansa Stark To Have Kids?

Game of Thrones Season 7 has been filming in Ireland and Spain for months now. Like every season of HBO’s epic fantasy drama series, the upcoming season has already created a lot of buzz among the fans by spoilers, fan theories and cast interviews. It was earlier rumored that the upcoming season of GoT will show an incestuous relationship between Sansa (Sophie Turner) and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams). But the recent report hints of a possible romantic relationship to brew between Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and his half-sister Sansa.

Entertainment Weekly recently predicted the possibility of Jon Snow marrying Sansa Stark.

According to the media publication, it is not confirmed that Jon, whose real name in the show is Jaehaerys Targaryen, will marry his half-sister. But given the show has confirmed that they both are merely cousins, it is a possibility that fans will see them getting married in the upcoming seasons.

This won’t be the first time when reports about an incestuous relationship surfaced online. Prior to this, Turner herself stated that since her character has suffered at the hands of different men, she thinks that it is best for her to have a lesbian relationship. She further revealed that according to Sansa’s personality, Margaery Tyrell could have been a perfect life partner for her. GoT Season 6, Episode 10 showed the brutal death of Margaery along with High Priest. So, Sansa romancing with Margaery is now out of the question.

Although, she further noted that her younger sister would become a good sexual partner for her.

“I’d love a love scene between Arya and Sansa.”

The show is set to return in summer 2017, and Turner is busy shooting for her role. Even with the hectic schedule, she has also been doing the press rounds.

During her recent conversation with Entertainment Weekly about Sansa’s future in the show, the 21-year-old English actress said that this would be the first time when her character will have some control over situations. But due to the sudden victory in the North, her character is immensely insecure because there are threats everywhere.

“What overall excites me about this season is that main characters are coming together, and it feels like things are ramping up. It’s really exciting and all feels like it’s coming to a big conclusion.”

Apart from talking about the fate of Sansa in Game of Thrones Season 7, Sophie also revealed what it felt to rekindle her relationship with Jon Snow.

“When she saw Jon again, she was so elated to see him and so excited to get back to where they were and have him treat her with the respect that he used, but they’ve both been through so much. And he isn’t listening to her as much anymore, and he’s not respecting what’s she been through, and I think she feels a little disheartened by Jon. As lovely as it is to see him again, and as much as they do love each other, there’s a lot of tension there that’s been slowly building throughout the seasons.”

In the HBO adaptation of George R. R. Martin’s epic fantasy saga, fans have already seen the scandalous incestuous relationship between Cersei (Lena Headey) and her brother Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau). By their secret affair, they had three children, Joffrey, Myrcella and Tommen Baratheon, who were eventually killed off in the course of six seasons.

So, if Jon and Sansa will get into a relationship, is there a possibility that they will also have kids together? Well, nothing has been confirmed at this moment, but it would be interesting to see if these fan theories and speculations will ever materialize on the TV screen.
