Sofia Vergara Trying To Stop Sale Of Hacked Personal Photos

Looks like Sofia Vergara’s fiance Nick Loeb is the next victim of phone hacking. Apparently, Vergara’s fiance’s BlackBerry was hacked which provided the hacker with personal pictures of the spicy Latin Modern Family actress. The pictures are personal but aren’t nude unlike recent hacking photos found of other celebrities.

The pictures are said to have been hacked before Vergara’s engagement in July. Currently the pictures are being put up for sale in Delray Beach, Florida by the hacker. However, it is said that Sofia is desperately trying to stop the pictures from being sold even though the nature of the pictures aren’t fully revealing. The actress’ management are actively seeking out the hacker in hopes to stop the sale.

It’s not yet known how the pictures were accessed, but one things for sure is that Vergara “looks fantastic.” According to a source with The New York Post Loeb’s phone was lost which might have lead to the leak. Another source said the photos of Sofia Vergara are highly unlikely to ever see the light of day, “Sofia’s legal and management team have been aggressive about taking them off the market,” said the source.

The engaged couple have been dating since early 2010 and became engaged during her birthday celebration in Mexico in July. However, the hacking troubles haven’t stopped the actress from making a few appearances. Last night Vergara was seen wearing a black mini dress at artist Domingo Zapata’s show at the Bowery Hotel in New York City.

Despite the leak, Vergara has been having an excellent year career-wise. The actress, who plays Latin spitfire Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on Modern Family was declared to be the top-earning actress on television, as she raked in $19 million dollars last year alone. In addition she’s also been nominated for an Emmy as well and has struck up deals with Kmart, Pepsi and L’Oreal. Not too shabby!
