‘Real Housewives Of New Jersey’ Teresa Giudice ‘Falls Apart’ Without Husband Joe, Dreading ‘Miserable’ Christmas?

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is allegedly falling apart without her husband, Joe Giudice. A new report revealed that while the RHONJ veteran is adjusting to her life as a single mother, the upcoming holidays is allegedly putting so much pressure on her.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Teresa Giudice is prepping for a “miserable” Christmas with husband Joe Giudice in prison. This will be the first Christmas she’s spending time away from her husband, as she was released from a Connecticut prison last year on December 23 just in time to celebrate the holiday with her family. Although the Real Housewives of New Jersey star is slowly adjusting to life as a single mom, the site held that Teresa is still “falling apart” without Joe by her side.

“Even though Joe managed to raise the couple’s four daughters on his own, Teresa is falling apart without him. She’s already mentioned in several interviews that she misses Joe dearly and is having a hard time dealing with life as a single mother.”

In an interview with Life & Style magazine, Teresa revealed that they would be spending Christmas Eve with her family, which includes her brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa. On Christmas, they’ll head on to Joe’s family hoping it will make her daughters feel like their father is there in spirit. She, however, admitted that the holidays is still not the same without her husband.

“It’s not the same. I want him here. The girls really want him home, too,” she shared.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star admitted that the thought of not being with Joe was too devastating that the kids don’t even want to discuss it.

“I try to talk about it, but they don’t want to. We are just taking it day by day. I think about him all the time, every second. The girls do, too,” Teresa revealed.

Joe Giudice is currently serving his 41-month sentence at a correctional facility in Fort Dix, New Jersey after pleading guilty to several mortgage and bankruptcy fraud charges in 2014.

Even if there is a possibility that Joe might be deported to his native Italy, Teresa still does her best to remain optimistic and make the most out of the situation.

“You can’t be miserable and hide in a corner. You’ve just got to live life to the fullest,” she said.

Teresa told Extra that she’s talking to Joe every day, sometimes even twice a day. She also makes it to a point to visit him every week. According to Teresa, Joe has lost an incredible amount of weight just months after entering prison. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, however, insisted that the weight loss actually worked in Joe’s favor.

“He’s lost over 30 pounds… he looks amazing. I can’t wait for him to come home. I say, ‘You’re not coming home until you have abs.'”

An insider told Us Weekly that Joe has been constantly working out at the prison gym. But he didn’t shed off all those pounds just by staying fit. The insider revealed that Joe was actually “miserable” in prison, stressed out, and missing his family, which helped him lost weight. It also did not help that Joe was allegedly spending most of his time alone and is “falling into depression.”

“He’s not eating pasta and all the Italian goodies he was accustomed to before prison. His dislike of the [prison] food and all the stress is helping him lose weight,” the insider said.
