Jenelle Evans Files For Sole Custody Of Kaiser, ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Heads Back To Court
Jenelle Evans is heading back to court. She has been in and out of family court for several years. From her battle with Barbara over Jace to a custody arrangement for her son Kaiser with ex-boyfriend, Nathan Griffith, the amount of money she has spent in legal fees is astronomical. Just this past May, Evans was awarded joint custody of her son Kaiser. Griffith agreed to make things easy, and the former couple split everything down the middle with the stipulation the child would primarily live with Evans.
Over the last few months, things have changed for Jenelle Evans. She announced she was pregnant with her third child. Things have been inconsistent with Nathan Griffith seeing Kaiser and taking care of him, so she decided to do something about it. According to the Hollywood Gossip, Jenelle Evans is headed back to court to fight for sole custody of Kaiser. Allegations are that Griffith is not using his allotted visitation time and often skips it. Evans has also alleged there is a substance abuse issue for her ex and that she fears for her son while in his care. While all of these issues are just rumors at this point, Jenelle could end up with sole custody if she proves any of this in court.
Teen Mom 2 is the only income Jenelle Evans has at the moment. The new season is going to return to MTV in less than a month, and her story will be played for all to see. She kept her pregnancy under wraps for several months even though rumors had been circulating about the baby. Evans even lied to MTV while they were filming about whether or not she was expecting. As it turns out, there was a reason for it all. Now that she is expecting her third child, Evans has decided she wants all three of her kids under the same roof. She does have legal custody of Kaiser but she is tired of Nathan Griffith and decided to move for sole custody. There has not been a new court date yet, but the chances of her winning are looking pretty good based on allegations.
Things between Jenelle and Barbara Evans are not so good. In the trailer for Teen Mom 2, they can be seen arguing over custody of Jace. Jenelle has not had to take care of her oldest son since he was a little baby. Barbara has always been the one to handle him and now, it appears he wants to remain with his grandma. Evans has been nothing but horrible to her mother throughout the entire show, and now she is being even worse because of the custody battle. Rumors have circulated that the two mended fences after the announcement of Jenelle’s third pregnancy, but that remains to be seen.
As the holidays approach, Jenelle Evans is getting ready for the arrival of her third child, and her only little girl. Her boyfriend, David Eason has been by her side through the entire pregnancy and supports her decision to seek sole custody of Kaiser. He has been helping Evans raise her middle child, even calling out Nathan Griffith for not showing up more. Things have been easier for her this time around and this relationship appears to be the most normal one she has had. If all of the allegations against Griffith are true, Evans should be able to win the court battle for Kaiser with little to no problem. There have been a lot of changes in her life in the last year and while Jenelle Evans has come a long way, she isn’t quite out of the woods yet.
