Is Jennifer Lawrence Really Getting Married? Not Yet It Seems [Debunked]

Will Jennifer Lawrence soon be walking down the aisle? A new diamond ring that the Oscar winner has been spotted wearing has got rumors swirling that this may be a very real possibility in the near future. JLaw has not even verified a relationship with her apparent new beau, director Darren Aronofsky, yet claims are being made that the actress and director are quite serious already.

As Brides shares, even though no confirmation directly from Lawrence has been made about the pair’s relationship, paparazzi have caught the two enjoying various dates in recent months since Jen worked on Mother, the director’s latest project. In October, a friend close to the actress confirmed that the relationship rumors are true. Nuptial news then began making the rounds after Lawrence was spotted wearing a gorgeous rock on her left ring finger recently.

When Jen and Passengers co-star Chris Pratt visited Madrid, Spain to promote the film, the two were both able to captivate media members, yet the majority of the attention was on the unique ring and has inspired visions of Jen walking down the aisle. However, any hopes for a speedy wedding have been dashed by Jennifer Lawrence’s rep who has addressed the rumors stating that they are completely false.

Chris Pratt was a “ray of sunshine” on set of the film the two starred in together. Vanity Fair noted Jen’s words about the actor, and compared her own demeanor to his.

“He is a ray of sunshine. We had to have a talk about his good moods at four in the morning, when he was encouraging the crew and I’m like the Grinch. I came on set like, ‘No more smiling. No more dancing.”

Pratt also shared his own take on Lawrence based on their experiencing working together on the film, and praised her for her ability to be honest and in tune with her emotions.

“Jen is really tuned in to her emotions,” he told me. “If she’s mad, she’ll let you know. She is very clear in her communication. I found it startlingly refreshing. It’s nice to work with somebody and know exactly where they stand. She’s a boss. It’s pretty awesome.”

It is clear that Lawrence’s focus is on achieving greatness in her career, which she indisputably already has, yet the actress recently shared in an interview with Vanity Fair that she has a daily goal to achieve.

“I don’t like waking up with nothing to do or going to sleep without accomplishing anything,” Lawrence says. “That really depresses me.”

When it comes to weddings, Jen went so far as revealing that she loves her friends but will never be a bridesmaid again. The publication relays her words about marriage and not wanting to rank friends at her own wedding, when that day comes.

“All of my friends are getting married and having babies,” she says, revealing one role that she will absolutely never reprise. “Weddings rock, but I will never be a bridesmaid again,” says the four-time survivor. “There needs to be a bridesmaids’ union. It’s horrendous. If anyone asks me again, I’m going to say, ‘No. That part of my life is over. I appreciate the ask.’ If I do ever get married, I don’t think I will have bridesmaids. How can I rank my friends?”

Jennifer Lawrence has won over the masses not only due to her onscreen talent and her wit, but also for her candid manner she has when voicing her opinions about various subjects. Jen did not back down in regard to gender equality and the pay gap that exists between the sexes when she discovered that even as the highest paid actress in Hollywood she was still making less than her male co-stars. Lawrence penned an essay on the subject. She is a star to admire, and her realness and steadfast nature makes her even more endearing.
