Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth Wedding News: Are They Secretly Planning To Get Married? [Rumor]

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth rekindled their romance and resumed their engagement earlier this year, but thus far, the couple has not confirmed any official plans to tie the knot.

Although fans have remained in the dark about when and where Miley Cyrus, who recently celebrated her 24th birthday, and her actor fiancé will wed, a new report claims the planning process is in the works, but it is being kept secret from the public.

“The wedding isn’t off, [Miley Cyrus] just wants to keep it totally under wraps,” an insider told Hollywood Life on November 30.

Prior to the outlet’s report, rumors were swirling claiming Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth had allegedly called off their wedding after months of planning.

“[Miley Cyrus]’s usually really open but this is one thing she’s being secretive about, she doesn’t want any of the details getting out,” the outlet explained. “She’s sworn her family to secrecy, they’ve all made a pact not to say anything to help her protect their privacy.”

Miley Cyrus’s younger sister, Noah Cyrus, was recently asked about her singer sister’s potential wedding plans, and she denied that she knew a thing. Instead, during her interview with Life & Style magazine, Noah said Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s wedding plans weren’t moving forward.

“There’s not any planning [going on] right now,” Noah said.

As for how her sister will be as a wife, Noah said Miley Cyrus would be “pretty chill.”

“I love Liam,” Noah added. “He’s been in the family for a really long time, so he’s like a big brother to me.”

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth struck up a romance on the set of 2010’s The Last Song and became engaged two years later. Then, in September 2013, after Miley Cyrus shocked fans with a racy performance with Robin Thicke at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, their engagement was called off.

In the years that followed their breakup, Miley Cyrus was linked to several other men, including Jared Leto, Mike Will Made It, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Douglas Booth, Kellan Lutz and Benji Madden. She was also linked to musician Brooke Candy and Victoria’s Secret model Stella Maxwell. Meanwhile, Hemsworth allegedly dated Maika Monroe, January Jones, Nina Dobrev, and Eiza Gonzalez.

Although Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth reported dated other people after calling off their engagement in 2013, they reportedly reconciled at the end of 2015, and in early 2016, photos surfaced of Miley Cyrus with her Neil Lane engagement ring back on.

Months later, Miley Cyrus spoke of her engagement ring during an appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show.

“This is really weird because this is like real jewelry and most of my jewelry is made out of gummy bears and cotton candy and they don’t look that good together because they kind of mix up, so sometimes I replace it with an actual unicorn or a Looney tune,” the singer explained, according to a report by E! News. “And he’s kind of like what’s going on? It’s like, well, this isn’t really my aesthetic, but I’ll wear it because you love me.”

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth might be staying mum when it comes to their alleged plans to wed, but one thing they are not doing is hiding out from the paparazzi. As Miley Cyrus continues to film the 11th season of The Voice, which is her first season on the singing competition series, she and her partner continue to be spotted together in Malibu, where they both have homes.
