Did Robert Pattinson And FKA Twigs Call Of Their Engagement? What He Said About Wedding Plans

It’s been over a year since Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs announced their engagement to the world, and yet they don’t appear any closer to officially tying the knot. Just Jared reports that Pattinson was spotted in Beverly Hills over the weekend and remained coy when asked about the wedding plans.

Did Pattinson and Twigs call off the wedding?

“I still feel like I’m 22… maybe even 14,” Pattinson shared when People questioned him about future plans. When asked about his upcoming wedding plans with Twigs, Pattinson replied, “Planning what now.”

Pattinson was spotted while running a few errands in the city. He wore a gray sweater and shorts for the outing and later hit the gym for a quick workout. Twigs was not spotted in his company.

According to Pop Sugar, the actor has been engaged to Twigs since 2015. The pair have remained mum about the engagement since the announcement and rarely speak about their relationship in public.

Although a wedding might not be in their immediate future, Pattinson has expressed a desire to have children. In fact, during an interview in 2015, the Twilight star admitted that he wanted to be a father while Twigs explained how her age fits into the equation.

“I honestly didn’t give a s**t about any of this stuff until about two years ago. I don’t know whether it’s my age, I’m going to be 28 in January, but all of a sudden I started thinking that if I had a daughter, it is gonna be terrifying,” Twigs shared.

After postponing the wedding, Pattinson has immersed himself in his career and business opportunities. Along with starring in The Lost City of Z, Pattinson created a new clothing line and is active with the GO Campaign, an organization devoted to underprivileged kids.

“It’s amazing,” Pattinson said about his charity work. “It’s still completely unreal to me. I did this fund-raising thing and ended up [helping] build a school in Cambodia. I remember thinking, ‘Wow!’ because I had never seen such a direct correlation between doing a charitable act and the actual brick and mortar reality of it.”

Meanwhile, it still isn’t clear if Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs have just delayed the wedding or called it off entirely. According to Inquisitr, there is good reason to believe that the engagement is off for good.

“It’s been a long time coming. They were fighting all the time,” an insider shared, adding that Pattinson and Twigs ended things months after the engagement. “Rob felt trapped.”

Given Pattinson’s busy schedule, planning for the wedding proved a “drag” for the star. Even more, the added media pressure brought out a different version of Twigs that Pattinson never knew.

“[She] isn’t the girl for him. She’s very jealous and he was sick of having to explain himself,” the insider revealed. “He’s still young and just decided he wasn’t ready to settle down.”

Considering Pattinson’s latest comments, it sounds like he isn’t quite ready to start a family just yet. Before his engagement to Twigs, Pattinson famously dated his Twilight co-star, Kristen Stewart. The couple parted ways in 2013 following Stewart’s affair.

Twilight fans have long hoped that Pattinson and Stewart would eventually get back together. Unfortunately, both Stewart and Pattinson have moved on to date other people and it doesn’t look like a reunion is in the cards anytime soon.

Of course, if Pattinson and Twigs have called off the wedding, then there’s always a chance that he will go back to his former flame. Until more information is revealed, there’s no telling what is going on with Pattinson’s love life.
